chapter 31

I went with Carlisle to the Black house. Jacob was severely injured so Carlisle had to put his bones back in place. "When I fix his bones you try to make them heal faster by making his blood circle faster." Carlisle told me on the way. "Where's he?" Carlisle asked Billy. "Inside, help him, please." Billy said. Carlisle nodded. Jacobs's screams soon filled the air. "Billy, he's going to be ok, he's a fighter." I said. "I know." he said. After more painful screams Carlisle finally appeared at the doorstep. 

"Daph, go in." Carlisle said. "Great, another leech." Jacob said. "You should be thankful, we're saving your life." I said. "I'm just not used to having leec...vampires helping me." he said. "I understand. Now, stay completely still, this may sting a bit." I said. I put my hands over his body and concentrated on his blood. "Have you ever done this before?" He asked. "No." I said. "And it's gonna work?" he asked. "It should, in theory. Now, hush." I said. I concentrated on his blood, visioned it rushing through his veins, and let the powers linger through his tissues. He shuffled a bit but kept calm. After some time I was done. "Now, try to move your arm, slowly." I said. He slowly raised his arm. "Slowly close your hand and open it." I said. He did that a few times. "Does it hurt?" I asked. "No, it's just sore." He said. "Move your leg." I said. He moved it. "Your bones have healed." I said. 

"Now rest and in the morning you should be fine. Do you need anything? Food, water, I wanted to say a warm hug but you know the vampire thing so... a cold hug?" I asked. He chuckled. "I'm not a three-year-old, you are acting like a worried mother." He said. "Well since I can't have kids I gotta work with what I have." I said. "Actually I do need something." he said. "I'll tell Bella you asked for her." I said. "How did you... oh, yea, mind reading. Thank you." he said. I got out and saw Bella. "He asked for you." I said to her. She then went to him. "His bones are healed he should be as good as new in the morning just let him rest now." I said to Billy. "Thank you, you have been of great help." Billy said. "No problem." I said and went home. 

I went to my room and took a shower and changed my clothes. 

I came downstairs. "Well, I'm glad that everything done." Emmet said. "We still have the wedding." I said. "Yeah, but I meant like, bad things." Emmet said. "I don't want to be pessimistic but I feel something worse is coming." I said. "Let's leave future predicting to Alice." Jasper said hugging me from behind. I took his hand and we left to our spot on the roof. "After the wedding, we'll go away, somewhere beautiful. Just the two of us." Jasper said. "Somewhere tropical, we'll rent out a bungalow on the beach, away from people." I said. "Sounds good to me." he said. We lay on the roof just looking at the sky. "I can't believe I found you." I said. "What do you mean?" Jasper asked. "What are the odds of finding your soulmate out of so many people in the world. I'm glad we found each other." I said. "Me too." Jasper said.
