As Jacob went on to fight with his pack I went to talk to Carlisle. "Carlisle, can I talk to you for a second?" I asked. "Yeah, sure." He said. "If, the baby is born and Bella survives. What are we going to do?" I asked. "What do you mean?" He asked. "You know what I mean, how long will it take before they find out?" I said. "I don't know." He said and looked away. "You know as well as I do that they are not going to hesitate killing us all, and I'm not prepared to loose Jasper, I have been alone for so long that I will not stand being alone again." I said. "So in other words you'll leave us." He said. "If that's what it takes to protect the love of my life, than yes. I'm sorry, I'm not like you, I don't have values that you do." I said. We were interrupted by Jacob's return.
"Get ready, they're coming for Bella." Jacob said. "They're not going to touch her." Edward said. "Agreed." Jacob said.
"Sam's lost the element of surprise and he doesn't want to take you on outnumbered...so he's not going to come at you head on. He's got the place surrounded and he'll wait for his opportunity." Jacob said. "We won't get through without a fight." Emmet said. "No fights. We won't be the ones to break the treaty." Carlisle said. "The treaty is void, at least in Sam's mind." Jacob said. "Not in ours." Esme said. "Carlisle, no one's hunted for weeks." Emmet said. "We'll make do." Esme said. "You've done us a great service, Jacob. Thank you." Carlisle said.
As the wolves were lurking in the shadows, the Cullen clan and the outcasts of Sam's pack anxiously waited for the confrontation.
I'm sorry you haven't heard from me in a while, school has been a b*tch. And with my lack of inspiration, it's not looking good. My plans for this story are finish it, and then go into serious rewriting mode. I hate how I wrote in the beginning so I'll probably make a lot of changes, maybe not to the plot so much, but the overall scenes, character personality and the way of writing.
Thank you for sticking with this story, the response is overwhelming, at least to me, as a baby writer.
