Stuck for eternity (Jasper Hale)

I was forced to help out in the kitchen to make food for Bella. After much protest, I just cut the garlic and left to my room to get changed into something nice as Esme put it. 

"This nice enough?" I asked Jasper. "You look good in everything. " he said. "Kissass. " I said and he chuckled. I took a whiff and sensed Bella's scent. I could feel Jasper get a little tense so I took his hand and traced circles with my thumb on the back of his hand. We got down and Ed and Bella were there. 

"I hope you are hungry. You gave us an excuse to use the kitchen for once." Carlisle said. "Yeah." Bella said. "She already ate. " Edward said and Rosalie smashed a vase. "So we're just going to pretend that this couldn't end up badly." Rosalie said. "Badly as in I would become the meal. " Bella said and everyone except Rose and me chuckled a bit. "Oh sweety, me killing you would be less of a problem than if we kept you alive but I'm not going to. Not because of you of course. I couldn't care less, but it would crush Edwards little frozen heart." I said. "Daphne!" Esme said. "You can keep pretending, but all of us know that she's right." Rose said and with that, we were off. 

"If we get in trouble with the Volturi I will personally kill both of them. " Rose said. "I don't even want to know what would happen if they found out, which they eventually will, they always do." I said. Rosalie wrapped her arm around me. "We won't let that happen again Daph." Rose said. That's when Jasper came into my room. "I'll leave you two alone. " Rose said. "Surprised you didn't go to Paul." Jasper said. "I can't always burden him, he has a life. Plus I wanted some time alone with my favorite person in the whole world." I said to him. "Oh, should I tell Rosalie to return?" he joked. "I love you. Don't ever forget that." I said. He kissed me. "I love you too." He said. "And I won't let anything bad happen to you." he said. "I know." I said and kissed him.
