The subsequent morning, after Sophia sent me out of her bedroom last night, I got news from one of the maids that there were two men waiting for me in the living room.

I went down, sighting them chatting with Fredrick. It seems they didn't need me. Fredrick turns and finds me coming. He gave the men a sign, and they both stood up and welcomed me.

I took a seat next to my brother, and at the table, I found documents related to my dad's company.

I picked the papers up and read them. It looks like my dad's business is about to go down the drain, all thanks to Fredrick's exorbitant spending on his crazy ex-mistress.

Sophia came down and sees us there. At first, she didn't bother herself; however, one of the men seated there calls her back.

"Good morning, Miss Sophia," he says.

"Hello, Mr. Adam," She walks close.

Our eyes meet, and she grunts and looks away. Mr. Adam takes the documents and hands them over to her. She reads and afterward gets appalled by the news.

"How is this possible?" She raises a question. I whirled to Fredrick; she sees that and immediately understood.

At the same time, Dad's lawyer walks in. He comes home with some important news; he wanted to read Dad's last will.

I sent the other men away, and since we were all gathered in the living room, he takes a seat and shares Dad's last will of testament with us.

"Shall we start?" Some documents were pulled out from his suitcase and placed on the table.

I stretched a little and saw how eager my brother was to hear Dad's last will of testament being read.

Mr. Fabian brought to our notice that before Dad passed away, he had visited him... which was a few months ago, during the incident with Rina.

Dad got his will changed, and guess who has the major property shares. Yes! Sophia, his daughter-in-law. Dad didn't even think twice before changing his will.

He gave 98 percent of his shares and properties, including the businesses to her, and gave us, his sons, 10% which was 5% each.

Fredrick got infuriated by the news.

He goes after Dad's lawyer, yearning to swat him. However, I got between and dragged him back.

"Calm down, brother," I said.

But  Frederick refused to listen. He tried to push me off, but I stood my ground and pleaded with Mr. Fabian to leave. He left, hoping to come back another time.

Sophia walks left and we were now able to speak. "Control yourself, bro," I said but Fredrick pushed me away and replied.

"Don't tell me to calm down,"  he growled and then continued,  "How dare father do this to us," He said and I smiled.

Although Dad gave us a shock, what could we do? He's gone, and no matter what we've got to respect his final words.

"It's okay, bro, at least we got a little of Dad's properties, and with everything that happened, don't you think Dad did the right thing?" I answered back and he turns and gave me a nasty glare..

"I'm sorry, did you say the right thing?" Fredrick laughed.

"Yes! After everything that happened with Rina, Dad wouldn't have it any other way but give his daughter-in-law everything," I held his hand but he pulled his hand away and pushed me back..

  "Don't tell me you're okay with what Dad did," He yelled at me..

"Yes!"
I nodded, and then he beamed.

Fredrick has always been a selfish bastard; did he think that Dad was going to will everything to him because he's the first son of the family? He's sleeping on eggshells.
