"they don't love me, they're not that stupid," richclassmate!hongjoong says when he sits on top a desk beside you in the empty classroom. you look up at him through thick-framed glasses that were obviously fake and pretended to smile. "oh i must be stupid then."
he laughs and crosses his arms, standing above you now, "so you're saying all the flashy things i'm wearing now isn't what attracted you to me?"
"it's sarcasm," you spit out, returning to your sketch as you dangle your legs back and forth under the table. "your flashy things blind me actually."
hongjoong scoffs in annoyance as he playfully rolls his eyes but slides the expensive watch off his wrist anyway, placing it on your desk. not looking up, you ask, "what are you doing?"
"trying to see if i can bait you." he grins.
"you can't bait me, i already—"
"you already what?" hongjoong retorts, an eye smile appearing before you. "like me?"
