THERE WAS ONLY SO MANY PEOPLE WHO COULD HANDLE THE MIYAS. there was momma miya (the living legend herself), their volleyball captain kita shinsuke, their main manager shirofuku momoka, and coach kurosu. ginjima hitoshi did his best upon request by their senpai ojiro aran, but he wasn't good at reigning them in. this held especially true when momoka would encourage the twins over stopping them. it's not surprising. even the twins couldn't handle each other. (clearly.)

most days, suna rintaro was able to handle them. sure, they were loud, but they were actually pretty entertaining.

this was not most days.

shirofuku momoka opened the door of class 2-2, where they usually went during lunchtime. as soon as she did, suna stormed out of the room and pulled her over to class 2-1 wordlessly. her eyebrow lifted in question, her eyes making contact with ginjima's for a second.

"any reason why we're eating lunch separate from everyone else, rin?" momoka asked boredly, staring at suna who was grumpily eating her omurice bento because he forgot his (supposedly unopened) lunch in the room. she figured osamu was already eating whatever suna left behind, so she gave him her lunch. (it was so momoka could ask the twins to buy her food later.)

"i fought with the twins," suna responded dully.

"osamu too?" she asked for clarification, surprised.

"yeah, they were both annoying today," he grumbled.

she snorted, blowing a piece of stray hair out of her face. "so, what'dja fight over this time? did they team up on ya?"

"i said i was gonna move to the basketball team because they were being annoying," suna told her. "and then atsumu got mad at me for being a coward and osamu said i wouldn't be good at basketball anyways. gin said to stop but they kept going."

"aw, so they care," momoka smiled slyly. her eyes narrowed teasingly at suna. "rin, didja think they were just gonna let you go? it means they'd miss ya."

"disgusting," suna frowned. "i hope they quit it."

momoka laughed and brought out her biology textbook so she could study for her test tomorrow. suna's eyes thinned suspiciously at the textbook.

"momo, do you study during lunch?" suna asked, almost disgusted.

her brown eyes followed his disgusted gaze and her eyes widened. "oh, wait." she then took out a thin women's magazine and covered the textbook with it before reading it again.

suna continued to stare at her in disbelief, finally connecting that the other times she used to read thick magazines was actually her read through their textbooks. he hadn't even realized she pulled out the same magazine every time.

closing the bento box cover, suna leaned forward on the desk and lazily tried to peer over the top of her textbook to read it. "you have a test tomorrow?"

barely paying attention, momoka hummed. "genetics. learnin' about twins and hereditary traits."

readjusting his position, suna rested his cheek on the palm of his right hand while his elbow rested on the desk. "sure, tell me more. this oughta be fun."
