Y/N woke up to a cold chill. It rippled across her skin, made goosebumps erupt across her arms. Of course, she could only feel them, as her sight was cut off by her eyelids. She opened them to a tiny light, and slowly but surely, her vision came into focus.

The light came from a tiny campfire, the embers cascading warmth and a little clarity to the little makeshift camp. Logs had been rolled into place around the fire, tied up to a nearby standing tree were two horses enjoying a pile of wild grasses. The night around her was dark, cold, but altogether not uninviting. Y/N couldn't remember how she got there, or who had made this little living space, but she didn't have to wonder for long. A figure walked into the camp, features obscured by the night, carrying a bundle of what looked to be firewood. It saw her, immediately dropped the kindling, and ran toward her, throwing its arms around her. It smelled of burning wood and mossy grass, it was comforting.

"Y/N, thank god, I thought you were dead..." It was a man's voice, his hands warm on her back. She didn't have a problem with this sudden affection, only with the one administering it.

"Get the hell off of me." She attempted to throw Levi off of her, causing the male to stumble back.

"Wait... you-"

"Remember you? Yeah, of course. No one in their right mind would forget the face of the murderer who killed their family." Levi looked absolutely astounded.

"Y/N, I-"

"And I don't know what bastard did this to me, but it doesn't matter. You should have let me die. I would rather have died than have been saved by you." She spat, poison on her tongue.

"Y/N... why..." He looked at her, face pale with shock. Then, that paleness turned to bright red, and his aura changed to pure rage.

"Really, that's what you have to say?! You ran away from your post! You were attacked by Titans in the middle of nowhere and almost died, and that's what you're concerned about?! You have broken ribs, legs, arms, a formidable concussion-"

It hurt every part of her to yell, but she didn't care. "What, then! I suppose I should be thanking you, huh? 'Oh Levi, thank you so much for saving me~'."

"You know what, that's it! Don't patronize me! I'm sick of your shit, Y/N! God, I never said that! I don't want your thanks, I just want to talk, goddammit-"

"Well, you know what?! No. I told you before, and I'll tell you again; I have nothing to say to a traitor like you!"

"Oh, you wanna play this game?! Fine! I'm sorry I bothered you with my presence! That I tried to save your sorry ass! I promise I won't ever do it again! I promise that I will always let you do things on your own because that's what you damn well want, isn't it?!"

Y/N couldn't speak. Her lips ceased to move in utter awe. Levi, calm and composed Levi, had yelled. He had never yelled at her. Never. She was shocked beyond words. He stopped, noticing her expression, and quickly turned around to descend right back into the black from whence he had come. She tried to say something else, but all that came out was a groan of pain.

Suddenly, it all came flooding back to Y/N, she finally became conscious of the pain. She felt sick and immediately tried to turn on her side so that she could vomit. Her body was hot from the yelling, her head spinning and her ears ringing. However, soon the pain became too much, and it didn't take long after her body was done excreting for her to pass out once again in the cool evening.

A/n: I wrote Y/N's actions... and even I can't stand her. Please stop and just let him love you.
