"Levi..."

"Oi, Levi..."

"Oi..."

"Hey, Levi, you ass, wake the hell up!"

Levi bolted upright, immediately knocking his forehead into something hard on top of him. He grasped his head in pain. What was it? Had that been Y/N? What had happened? Was it a Titan? He panicked, looked up at what he had hit, and breathed a sigh of relief. Contrary to his fatalistic idea, it wasn't a monster nor a wild animal, only a familiar face.

"Four-eyes....?"

"Damn right, you jerk!" Replied a squinting Hange, who was also grabbing her head from the impact. "Where the hell have you been?!"

"I-"

"Actually, nevermind. Don't answer that. Better question, where's Y/N?"

For a minute, the anxiety returned as he looked to the side where his lover usually was and found it empty. Then he felt the warm hand on his stomach, calmed down, and tenderly pulled back the pelt to reveal the sleeping girl underneath.

"Oh, I see how it is, you perv. Just move out of the way!" She spewed sarcastically, beckoning to behind her. Levi respected her wishes, and moved out of the way as two young scouts came over with an empty cart, perfect for transporting another person. The two lifted Y/N into the wooden box, covering her back up with the blanket once they had her settled in. She didn't wake, only stirred for a minute before relaxing again.

Levi made his way over to where Hange was standing, dusting himself off as he looked over the camp. Several soldiers had surrounded the tiny and temporary living space. Some stared judgmentally at the mountain of bloody bandages and used splints, others pointed out the abnormalities of the dark trees in the forest.

It had finally happened. Y/N and Levi had been found.

"No, no. You're in trouble, buster! Keep your eyes on me!"

"Hange, how..."

"Oh, you know, we just hopped, skipped, and jumped over here. No! We spent three days looking for a sign of either one of you back at the port! We sent people back to the walls to search for you! And now, we've been riding aimlessly out here in the middle of nowhere for over two damn weeks! I've had to entertain these whiny-bag, diaper-wearing, constipated children for too long! The nerve, Levi, the nerve!"

"Ah...."

"That's all you have to say?!"

She looked at him sassily, frustration on her face.

"Er, Four-Eyes.... My bad."

"'Your bad' indeed! I don't know what you've been up to the last few weeks, but lemme tell you, you have a hell of a lot of explaining to do."
