We head into the S.T.A.R Labs building, myself leading the way as none of the others have actually been here before. I nervously tug on a lock of my blonde hair as we pile into the elevator that goes down to the lower level with the cortex. I wasn't with them for that long, I hope they don't recognise me with my new blonde hair and blue eyes, I reassure myself and take a deep breath. With all their security cameras, they should already know we are in the building by now. I tell Kyra in my head which button to press on the elevator in order to go to the cortex. There are security cameras in the elevator and it would look suspicious if I know the way to the elevator and which button to press, well, more suspicious than a bunch of teenagers making their way down to a confidential part of a closed lab building.

We stand in silence as the elevator starts to descend. It feels like hours that we wait in the elevator, although it is actually only minutes before the bell tings and the door slides open. We step out, preparing to face the whole team flash, only to have no one here.

"They must be in the cortex still?" I whisper as softly as I can. Dylan nods slightly and we start to all walk down the corridor to the cortex. Once we finally arrive by the doorway, I peek inside to find it empty as well, all the light turned off.

"One sec," I quickly tell them before speeding through the entire building. Just as I thought.

"The building's empty," I tell them as I skid to a stop next to Aaron.

"What time is it?" he asks Jax. Jax looks at his watch.

"It is 6.02," he tells us. I nearly face palm myself.

"Of course, it's a Friday, right?" I ask Jax. He nods.

"Every Friday they have a movie night at Barry's House. So, they probably left early," I explain.

"Well, why was the door to the building unlocked?" Aaron asks. I grin.

"Cisco is in charge of locking up and he does tend to forget from time to time luckily for us." I sit down on one of the chairs in the cortex by the computers. Dylan and Kyra take the remaining two chairs while Aaron and Jax just sit on top of the table.

"So, what do we do now?" Kyra asks. I shrug.

"Don't know. Anyone got any ideas?" I ask. Everyone looks at each other.

"We could get something to eat?" Aaron suggests, his stomach growling. We all laugh.

"You always only think about food," Kyra says. He grins.

"It's a gift."

Half an hour later and we are all sitting on the floor, sharing two boxes of pizza. Because Tony teleported us here, it means Jax didn't have to use his money on a bus ride here. I finish my third slice of pizza and clean my greasy hands on my pants.

"What time do they usually get here?" Kyra asks.

"Caitlin and Cisco arrive first at about 9.00 or so and Barry usually pops in during his lunch break at 12.00," I tell them. Jax nods.

"That mean's as long as we wake up around 8.30 or so we'll be good," he says.

We watch movies on one of the computers for the next three hours. It is those sci-fi movies that Cisco loves so much. I yawn as I lean back in my chair. Kyra fell asleep about half an hour ago. My eyes start to grow heavy as I slowly drift asleep.

I awake to someone shaking me.

"Lexi, you have to get up, they'll be here any minute now," a voice says. I open my eyes to see Dylan standing next to me. I shoot up from the bed when I notice the bright light coming in from the windows.

"What time is it?" I ask him.

"It's 8.54. We must have been really tired last night," he explains. I nod my head in agreement. I hear a beeping coming from the computer and look over to see it showing Cisco and Caitlin making their way down the elevator.

"We have about 2 minutes before they reach us," I explain to the others.

"And remember to call me Kat." They all nod.

I hear footsteps coming down the hallway, getting closer with each step.

3...

I hear the chatter of their voices.

2...

I start to see their shadows through the doorway as they make their way down the hallway.
