(Lexi's P.O.V)
I enter the cortex to find Barry and Cisco standing there staring at me.
"Hey guys, where are the others?" I ask nervously. Did Cisco tell Barry about my brand?
"We need to talk," Barry says curtly.
I put down the tray of drinks on the table and lift myself onto the counter, dangling my legs over the edge.
"Sure, what's up?"
"Why didn't you tell us?" Cisco demands.
"Tell you what?" I play dumb.
"Tell us that you're Lexi!" Barry shouts, banging his fist on the table. I jump in surprise.
"I... I," I stutter. Not knowing what else to do, I quickly use my speed to speed out of the room. Barry speeds in front of me and before I know it he has grabbed me and chucked me into the pipeline.
"Barry, why are you locking me in here?" I shout, banging my hands on the glass.
"I'm sorry Lexi but right now I don't trust you and until I can, you're going to stay in here." he walks over to the control panel and presses the button that moves my cell to the back.
"Barry, Barry don't do this!" I shout. He turns around and leaves the room.
I collapse to the ground, burning my face into my hands. What am I going to do now?…...//:\\......
It feels like hours have passed until anyone comes down. My cell is pulled to the front and I see Aaron standing there.
“Aaron!” I exclaim, standing up.
“Lexi! I’m so sorry I didn’t come sooner. I just got back and they didn’t tell me where you were and…” he starts rambling.
“Aaron, it’s fine,” I reassure him.
“Wait, what time is it?” I ask him suddenly. He looks at his watch.
“Umm...5.30, why?” Arron asks. I sigh.
“We have the thing, remember?” I say, being careful of the security cameras I know they are watching us through. Aaron’s eyes widen in realisation.
"Can I go without you?" he whispers. I shake my head.
"Black Hole will know something is up if you do," I reply, also whispering.
"But I thought they could hear everything we say with the chips?" Aaron asks. I shake my head.
"If they did, why do they need us to give them information. They just said that so that we don't say anything to the others," I whisper. He nods.
"Maybe I can get Barry to let you out?" he asks. I shake my head.
"He'll never agree, trust me." we stand in silence for a bit, thinking on what to do next.
He gasps in realisation.
"What?" I ask him, whispering.
"I'm going to make a distraction. When all the power goes out, you need to phase through the cell door and run straight to the central city park. I'll meet you there. OK?" he explains.
"What's your distraction going to be?" I ask him.
"Don't worry, I can handle that. Just run to the park when the power turns off." I nod. He quickly turns around and leaves me once again, alone in my cell.I hear shouts from upstairs and suddenly the power goes out. I phase through the cell door before the backup generator can start up and race out of S.T.A.R Labs. I wonder what Aaron's distraction was?
Less than 10 minutes later, I see Aaron jogging over to me.
"What was your distraction? Nobody got hurt, right?" I ask, concerned about the shouts I heard. He grins.
"Let's just say you shouldn't use telekinesis to juggle five cups of steaming hot coffee next to the electricity panel. Don't worry, no one was hurt though." I sigh in relief.
"Should we get going?" I ask him, holding out my arm. He nods and grabs onto it.
I speed him to the Black Hole facility and right into Mrs. McCulloch's office without knocking. She looks up shocked as we land in the hard plastic chairs opposite her. She puts down whatever files she was working on and crosses her arms.
"So, what new information do you have?" she asks.
"We know who Killer Frost is," I blurt out. She raises an eyebrow.
"Who?" she asks curiously. I look over at Aaron who nods.
"Caitlin Snow," I tell her. She grins and writes down something in one of her folders.
"Excellent. Do you have anything else?" Aaron and I share another look. How much should we tell her?
"They are onto Black Hole. They know that you are kidnapping and training metahuman kids to be your own personal soldiers," Aaron tells her. She frowns slightly.
"This is sooner than I thought," she mumbles to herself, "Nevermind, you two may go now." we both stand up and I speed us out of there and back to the park.
"What are we going to do now? I can't exactly go back to S.T.A.R Labs," I tell Aaron. He frowns.
"Maybe you could just speed back into the cell? I doubt they even noticed you were missing," he tries but I shake my head.
"Of course they would have realised that I'm missing," I say, annoyed.
"Hey Lexi, your nose is bleeding," Aaron tells me, concerned. I quickly bring my hand to my nose and see it covered with blood.
"Umm...I think I have to take my medicine," I tell him. I grab my spare medicine in a syringe I carry with me just for incase of emergencies out of my pocket and quickly stab it into my arm. In a matter of seconds I feel my nose stop bleeding.
That was strange, I've never gotten a nose bleed from not having my medicine before. Before I can think about it any further, I see a flash of red and am suddenly back in the pipeline, this time with Aaron next to me. On the other side of the glass stand Barry and Cisco.
"Barry, I understand locking me up but don't lock up Aaron too. I'm the one that lied to you, not him," I plead. Barry shakes his head.
"He helped you escape the pipeline. We can't trust him just as much," Barry says. I turn to Cisco.
"Cisco…" I start but he cuts me off.
"Lexi, you attacked Caitlin and I and then you came back pretending to be a whole different person. I'm sorry but until you prove otherwise, I can't let you out," Cisco says, pain evident in his voice.
"How are we supposed to prove ourselves if we are locked in here?" I exclaim.
"Not breaking out would be a good start," Barry suggests sarcastically.
"Barry, she needed her medicine, without it, she will die, we had to get it for her," Aaron explains. Technically he isn't lying. After we met with Mrs. McCulloch's, I did take my medicine and without it I will die. We just aren't telling them everything.
"Next time, just tell us when you need it," Barry says before walking over to the control panel to close the door.
"Wait, what about the others? Are you going to lock them up to?" I ask. He shakes his head.
"They actually came clean and told us about escaping Black Hole. And, they didn't try to kill us or help a prisoner escape." With that, Barry presses the button and the metal door between us closes as our cell is sent to the back.
"Did you know that the others told them?" I ask Aaron. He shakes his head.
"They never told me about anything," he says. I sigh and slump to the floor, putting my head in my arms.
"How are we going to get out of this one?" I whisper to Aaron in worry. He is still for a few minutes before he replies.
"I honestly don't know."(1392 words)
