the stove was off but it was still extremely hot so when you went to handle the pan, you accidentally burned your hand. You let out a loud shriek before running to the sink and gushing cool water over it.
Freddie ran in after hearing your cry and rushed to your side. "baby?! are you ok???" she asked, placing a reassuring hand on your shoulder.
She cringed at the look on your face. Your eyes were scrunched up and tears were streaking down your cheeks from the searing ache. She felt horrible because she knew it would hurt for a while before getting better.
