I start walking to my first class as fast as I could. God, how could I be so stupid that I read that notebook outside of my own room.

As I sit down in my seat, I notice a few curious students sending me a confused expression. 'Shit, my eyes are still puffy'. I lightly sniffle and glare back, making them all break eye contact with me.

Once again, I manage to take in the information on the powerpoint, quickly jotting down notes as time flew by, feeling the graphite rubbing onto the side of my hands. The bell rung, signalling the end of first period. Gently placing my books in my bag, I trudge out the room to the next one, hoping not to see anyone from the volleyball team cross my path. Sure, I spotted some familiar faces giving me concerned looks like Tsukishima, Yamaguchi, Narita; no one I particularly spoke with over the past two days.

This same pattern went on until lunch. I sighed walking down the hallways once again, searching for an empty class to hang out in hoping to get a break and some nostalgia from my old routine at my previous school.

Slightly shrinking the crack of the door, not closing it all the way, I shuffle into a seat in the schools band room, taking out my notebook once again.

"Come on Asahi. She's known you for two days. Im sure you didn't do anything." explained Suga.

"He's right, even if you did something stupid, it must have not been anything so crazy that a 5 minute conversation cant fix." Daichi confirmed.

"You should talk to her. Don't you like her?" He added shortly after.

"It hasn't even been a week since I've known her, so I wouldn't say its a crush just yet. To be completely honest, she kinda scares me" I replied, hoping my friends won't notice my crimson face, burning brighter than usual.

"Maybe I should try asking her whats wrong in private." I excuse myself from the table and shuffle out of my seat in the cafeteria, spotting Yachi with a few of her friends just a few feet away.

"Hey Yachi, do you know where Y/N is?"

"I couldn't find her anywhere actually, she might be in a classroom or something. Why?"

"Oh, um, I just wanted to see if she's okay after what happened this morning." I rubbed the back of my neck nervously. "Thanks though have a good lunch" I send a soft smile as I start heading out the cafeteria, starting my search for Y/N.

'Where could she be?' I think to myself. While walking past all of the classrooms, I couldn't help but wonder why she didn't just sit with someone from the team. Shed have to get closer with us eventually anyways. I finally come across the band room, hearing the faint rustling of papers within the class. I nervously peek my head through the slight crack of the door. Sure enough, I spotted her sitting in a chair, one leg lazily crossed over the other while she hunches over flipping through the same notebook from this morning. Taking a deep breath, I give a little knock on the door and enter the room.

"Hey Y/N. Whatcha doing in the band room during lunch?" I questioned, seeing her respond with a shrug. "Mind if I sit?" I try being as calm as I can with my heart banging against my chest.

"Do whatever you want" She replies annoyed while pulling out a chair for me, never taking her eyes off of that notebook.

"So," I try to slowly pry the meaning of the notebook out of her. "what're you reading?" I calmly ask.

"Just things I wrote." she replies in her same low voice.

"What kind of things do you write?" I asked after.

"I write whenever I feel like it. If Im annoyed, stressed, or angry I just transfer it onto a page." she mutters back, shutting the book before I had the chance to look at the pages.
