Part 14

The Next Morning
Brett's point of view
I was laying in bed next to Casey who was sleeping. My thoughts were just flowing, I still can't believe what happened last night. It was just amazing and I can't wait for the wedding.

Severide's point of view
I had just gotten up with Leslie while Stella was still sleeping. I loved the mornings when we were off because I would wake up with Leslie and we would just spend one on one time with each other. I made some breakfast and started some coffee for Stella and I.

The Next Week
Nobody's point of view
It was shift day and everyone was having some down time while ambo just came back from a call. Shay was still acting weird and not talking to anyone except when needed too. Nobody pushed her, they just left it as is.

Stella came into the common room with a binder and sat next to Brett who was sitting at the table. "you ready to start planning this wedding?!?!" Stella said excitedly. "Let's go for it!" Brett said. They then started talking themes and locations for the wedding. They were really deep into the planning which made Kelly and Casey laugh.

Brett had a venue picked out all they needed to do was pick a date. They had all the details and colors of the bridesmaids dresses, now all they needed was to get sized. Brett's maid of honor is Stella and she's going to ask Chloe and Shay to be her bridesmaids. She decided to ask Shay because it was a good gesture and she wanted her to fill involved. Casey's best man is Severide and his grooms men are Cruz and Hermann. Brett went to go ask Shay if she wanted to be her bridesmaid. "Hey Shay. I was wondering if you wanted to be one of my bridesmaids?" "Sure. I guess." Shay said. Shay didn't seem so enthusiastic about it but Brett just took it as a yes.

It was the next day so all the girls were going to get sized for their dresses. All the girls arrived at the store and started to get fitted. Shay was there but she was just rushing so she could get out of there. Shay had left and the other girls were finishing up and then going to get lunch, Brett had invited Shay but Shay declined.

Stella, Chloe and Brett went to the restaurant for lunch and the guys went to get fitted for their suits. Severide dropped Leslie off with Stella at the restaurant before he went to get fitted.

Everyone had finished getting fitted and now everyone was hanging out at Stella and Kelly's house for a BBQ. They were all talking about the wedding and getting excited for it. There is only 3 weeks left till Brett walks down the aisle.

Next Day
Brett's point of view
Getting ready for the wedding was so stressful but I know it will all be worth it in the end. The wedding is all planned out but we're still planning where we want to go for the honeymoon. Matt wants to go to Hawaii but I want to go somewhere in the Dominican. I know wherever we go it will be beautiful.

Casey's point of view
I am so excited to have a big wedding with all our family and friends surrounding us. I am counting down the days till I get to see my beautiful bride walk down the aisle.
