"You're coming to stay will me still right?" Hinata asked as we walked out of the school together. "I mean if you want me too, I won't be surprised if you get sick of me though," Hinata sighed. He was about speak but was suddenly interrupted by a high-pitched call coming from the gate. "Hinata!" we both spun to see who it was. "Oh, hi Nanami!" I chirped. She smiled. "Hinata, can I speak to you?" she paused. "Please?" she grasped His hand pulling him back through the gate leading him behind the main building.

...

"Is everything ok Nanami?" I asked. She looked at her shoes fiddling with her fingers. She looked up at me with a nervous grin. "Hinata, you're really nice and was so happy to meet you," she paused for a moment stepping slightly closer to me. "I like you Hinata."

She likes me.

I didn't know what to say. I was so dumbfounded. I stood in silence. "uh Nanami I-." I choked on my own words. Her smile slowly faded. "I'm sorry, am I not good enough?" she shed a tear. "No, No! That's not it at all!" I smiled awkwardly. "So, will you go out with me?" She smiled happily. "uh I-." I was cut off by Nanami stepping forward on her toes and kissing me. She dropped back down and giggled. I stood still as stone still trying to process what had just happened.

...

Hinata had been gone for a while so I decided it would be best for me to check up on the to make sure they are ok. Plus, if Hinata is late I doubt his mother would be impressed. I walked over to where Chiaki had led him but was completely horrified by what I saw. She was kissing Hinata.

"Hinata?" He looked over at me. I felt tears begin to build around my eyes. Although I'm not that fast, I quickly dashed away running out of school grounds as quickly as possible.

...

"Komaeda!" I called. "I'm so sorry Nanami," I ran after him. I look left and right before leaving the school and running out onto the pathway. I couldn't see him.

...

I stopped running and tried to catch my breath. Crying didn't help. I fell onto my knees by my garden. I didn't care if my pants got dirty. as I sobbed my subtle weeps became helpless cries. In rage I stood up and ripped at the roses letting the thorns scrape my hands. I felt as if I had snapped. So much had happened in such little time my mind can't keep up with it anymore. I ripped at the flowers watching the blood stain the white petals. It hurt a lot, but it didn't bother me much. As I slashed at the plant, I felt the thorns dig into my arm ripping my skin like cheap fabric. I watched as they fell around me covering the ground like a red carpet. I grabbed at my hair and dug my head between my knees cradling myself. I covered my ears to block out all noise. The noise of cars, the noise of moving wind, the noise of the happy birds because not even that could calm me now. The melted snow left marks on my already dirty uniform. I screamed as the river of tears dripping from my eyes continued to flow.

...

"Komaeda?!" I called as I ran around the area. I sprinted towards the park, I checked his spot by the trees, but I couldn't find him anywhere. "Please! I can explain." I panicked. I dashed down the footpath trying my best not to slip on ice. "Ah!" I tripped falling down. I felt my elbows. Only small grazes, not the bad. I brushed myself off and continued sprinting. I reached Komaeda's house and walked up to the front gate. "Komaeda!" I shrieked seeing him passed out in the snow. I shook him but he didn't flinch. "What happened?" I shouted. I looked down at his hands and wrists which were covered in many deep cuts. The blood spread over some of the snow and over his uniform. I saw the petals and rose branches on the ground and realised what had occurred.

The horrific scene of Komaeda ripping at the plants and inflicting the pain on himself flashed before my eyes. I scooped him up off the ground and rushed to his front door kicking it open breaking the lock in the process. I placed him on his sofa and watched as he slowly started to regain consciousness. I ran to his kitchen to try and gather some form on bandages but failed.

I rushed upstairs to his bathroom and retrieved a first aid kit which was left in a cabinet above the vanity. When I made it back down the stairs, I used some water and tissues to attempt to clean up some of the blood. Once I had done that I quickly but carefully wrapped up both his arms. "Hinata?"

"Don't scare me like that!" I cried. I held his head up since he didn't have the strength to do so. He tried to push me away, but I refused. He looked so weak. I honestly thought he would die if he lost anymore blood. "Hinata, w-why?" I could tell he was struggling to speak. "Rest, I'll explain everything later I promise," I was so concerned. I couldn't help but shed a few tears.

Why would he do such a thing to himself! I was completely terrified of the sight Infront of me. he looked dead although he was breathing. I'm not a nurse in any way so the bandages I attempted to tie looked very messy. He didn't look like he was in much pain which is a good sign, I guess. I fetched a small glass of water and helped him drink it. "Please be ok." I mumbled.

"Komaeda, I'm going to stay with you tonight and make sure you are ok?" I could tell he was trying to say otherwise but no words escaped his mouth. I took off my blazer realising it was a little dirty and hung it over a chair on the dining table. I slouched over in a chair. I was so tired, but I was going to let myself fall asleep if it meant Komaeda wouldn't be safe. I let out a sigh.

I looked back at Komaeda who was peacefully looking at the ceiling trying to hide the fact that he was still crying.

• Time skip •

"Komaeda? are you ok?" I asked. Luckily, he was able to sit up without struggle. "I'm fine, you can leave," he scratched the back of his head. "Go back to Nanami she's probably looking for you," I sighed. "I don't care! You're hurt!" I felt anger slowly build up inside of me.

"Is she your girlfriend or something?" he scoffed. I looked at the ground. My face began to heat up and I felt the anger twist and contort in my mind. "No! She's not!"

"Then why were you kissing her?!" he yelled with tears swelling in his eyes.

"Why do you even care?!" I shouted back without thinking. He was silent for a moment. He tried to slow his breathing before going to speak again. "Hinata I-."

That's it. "I like you Komaeda!" I interrupted. "Not Nanami!" I blushed in embarrassment.

...

He... likes... me?

"Y-You do?" I sniffled.

"Yes!" Hinata slouched down into his chair. "I care about you so much and I don't want to hurt you! I'm not leaving!" he crossed his arms.

"D-do you really?" I stuttered.

"Yes, Nagito." My eyes widened. He just- he just said my first name. My hear began to race. A pink blush was painted over my face.

"Hinata I, I feel the same way," I hid my face behind my knees, holding them to my chest. I can't believe I just did that.

He froze. "Y-You do?"

"Yes!" I giggled. He did too. I didn't feel the pain in my arms anymore. He picked himself up and pulled me into a tight hug still being careful not to cause me any pain. I wrapped my arms over his shoulders as I was brought into his warm embrace. He smiled. I rested my head on his lap letting him run his hands through my fluffy head of hair. He looked at me with a large smile. He cupped my check with his hand and pulled me closer to him. We were only inches apart.

I looked up at Hinata his smile was as bright at ever. Resemblant of the time when we first met. His chestnut hair, shimmery green-ish brown eyes, his beautiful smile and adorable laugh. "Komaeda?"

"Hm?" I sat up.

"Can you help me with my algebra homework?"
