𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐀𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝐎𝐑 hesitation, Maleficent pushed aside the henchmen that were standing in front—and blocking her view—of Mal. An evil smirk appeared on her face as she looked Mal up and down, observing and processing what her daughter just did while she was away and looking for her and her crew. Tilting her head slightly, Maleficent looked at her daughter with a small frown on her face.
"Stealing candy, Mal? I'm so disappointed," she said as she deepened her frown a bit more.
Mal looked at her mother, shocked slightly about the fact that she was even showing her face out in the open like this. Typically, the villains—who were banished here by Beast—never left their hideouts or fortresses. They would always stay inside, plotting their revenge and escape plans. Most of them, like Chernabog and Maleficent, claimed that they didn't want to be seen with people who weren't as evil as them, peasants or low lives as they would call them.
The purple-haired girl blinked a few times, her mouth suddenly running dry as she tried thinking of something, anything, that would make her sound evil for stealing the lollipop from the child. She knew that she could've done better, something vicious and cruel that would've shaken this whole island to its core and would've impressed Chernabog.
"It was from a baby," Mal said, a small smile on her face as she held out the candy to her mother.
Y/N scoffed slightly before it turned into a chuckle as she watched Mal's poor attempt to impress her mother. Jay glanced over at Y/N when he heard her chuckle, a playful glare appearing on his face when he noticed what she was laughing at. He lightly hip-checked her, causing her to lose her balance slightly. Jay gave her a look, making Y/N laugh slightly before turning her focus back to the mother-daughter duo.
An evil smirk appeared on Maleficent's face as she tossed her sceptre into her other hand. She sneered, "That's my nasty little girl."
Mal smiled as a feeling of pride travelled through her body when she heard her mother's praise. She glanced over at Y/N and gave her a smug look before handing over the lollipop to Maleficent. Y/N just scoffed as she rolled her eyes slightly. She didn't understand why Mal was trying this hard to impress her mother when she knew for a fact that it was never going to happen. The only possible way for Mal to be able to impress her mother is if she becomes exactly like her, a spitting image if you will. In return, the older woman grabbed the candy before spitting on it and placing it under her armpit as she grunted.
"Give it back to the dreadful creature," she said once she deemed the candy no longer edible. She reached behind her shoulder, holding the candy to one of her goons.
He grabbed the candy and brought it back to the blond woman and her child, a stoic expression on his face. A smirk appeared on Maleficent's face as she watched the candy being delivered to the toddler before looking back at her daughter and her friends. She scanned the group before her eyes landed on Y/N and looked her up and down. Y/N watched as the woman's smile seemed to have grown once she realized that she was there. A sigh left her lips as she started imagining what was possibly going on in her crazy mind and what she could be planning right now.
"Mom..." Mal whined as she watched her mother.
Y/N sighed again as she crossed her arms against her chest. She leaned against Jay, "Buckle in guys, we're gonna be here for a while."
