-It doesn't matter that you're leaving now, Asuna. I will always love you.
That dream harassed her again. Asuna woke up, crying, wiping her tears as she got out of bed, put on her bathrobe to turn on the hot water in her tub.
She reached a point where it bothered her since it was synonymous with being depressed for most of the day, until she met Kirito in that classroom.
Her depression was due to the fact that she thought about what could be, but was not. She, like her father, sent her into exile in France without giving her an opportunity to defend herself from that abrupt resolution, her first months in Paris and how it was difficult for her to adapt to the change of life, being exiled in solitude.
Ten years of loneliness was what she lived there, remembering how happy her life was before that. Remember how difficult it was to be four years without anyone by your side, until entering university.
-And you dreamed it again? -Kirito asked. Asuna arranged several books in the library on the second floor.
-It's something that is already starting to bother me. I wish there was a way to control what we dream about. –She complained, putting several history books in their place.
-We are supposed to ... but not everyone knows how to do it.
-And that's what bothers me! ... I wish I knew how I can stop dreaming that.
-Now do you hate that boy? What was your name?
-I don't hate him, I don't even remember his damn name, I don't remember anything, and I barely have memory of those years! ... my father burned all the stuffed animals and letters that he gave me, I cried all that night.
-How evil is your father ...
-I still have a grudge for it ... and the same was with my mother. I thought she was going to support me in not being exiled ... but she was the one who chose the convent to enter, it was so horrible.
-But we're already here. –Kirito got up from where he was sitting, hugged Asuna from behind and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
-Get off. -She muttered to him. –We are in the academy, what if someone sees us?
-It is a joke? Nobody ever enters the library, they prefer the ones in the city center.
-It's still no excuse.
The two left the library. Kirito was holding a whole tower of books while Asuna held up her folder with her group lists and class schedules.
Clearly, he looked ugly at Asuna, who was walking like nothing.
-Will you give me a hand? -Kirito asked.
-Hum ... you offered to take them, you hold on. -Asuna smiled, teasing the boy a bit. But it was a pleasant annoyance since seeing her teacher's smile was the best thing that happened to her all day.
Entering the classroom, Kirito put the books on the desk, having to put one on each bench. They were going to do a history reading. What better than to consult the world history books that were kept in the old academic library?
It was recess and therefore there was no one in the room, it was certainly better for them since that could be a good pretext for no one to question what the two of them were talking about, alone.
It was already a considerable time since their first secret date, and Kirito didn't know if it was because of the adrenaline that caused him to get caught or something like that, but he wanted to repeat the occasion, giving Asuna another kiss on the lips whether it was above mask, but wanted to.
