As had been planned for a few weeks, the play would be performed by members of the Coalition Committee (named for its Conservative and Red members), to promote a cultural event at the school, which had never been held before.

It would be the first play to be shown at the school, so it was of utmost importance and everyone was dying to participate.

The people in charge of the play were teachers Asuna and Klein, who already had experience organizing the masses of students.

It was to be expected that as the first play in the history of the school...there would be many problems.

Everyone in the direction was running around, bumping into each other or hitting each other to try to fix some problem.

Once again, a printer was burning and so were several file cabinets, so Asuna had to impose order by putting out the printer and file cabinets with a fire extinguisher.

It was impressive how much disorder was going on.

People were going to vote on which play to perform, many were asking for the classic Romeo and Juliet, others wanted something more fresh and pure from Japanese drama. There were plays from all over the world: Spain, Mexico, Russia, Japan, England and Morocco.

-What if we did a Chinese play? -Whoever came up with that idea was thrown a ball of paper.

-Let's put it to a vote, it must be a democratic and organized process!

-First dead before that, the play will be imposed as it should be, we don't trust the A-class because they will surely put a black hand in the vote!

Eugeo was fighting with another student while they were hitting the filing cabinets.

Eiji was arguing with Yuna, and Kirito and Yuuki were watching from a neutral corner.

-Hum, the spirits are very high. -He said.

-Don't tell me. -Yuuki sighed.

-Order here! -Asuna pounded her fist on the table to keep everyone quiet. -We will hold an election and from the first three most voted, we will hold another vote, am I clear or not?!

-Yes, teacher!

-Write down your choice on this ballot so that it can be considered, just do it today and that's it!

-That's what I call having character. -Mentioned Eiji.

-That's why I like her. -Yuna intervened, which Eiji found ugly.

Of the more than fifteen works selected, the first three were: Hiroshi and Pride, a Samurai Story. Romeo and Juliet. And...The Assassination of Leon Trotsky?

-Who wrote this play? -Asuna asked.

Those present did not really know who it was... until they heard a whistle in the back. Everyone looked at Professor Klein.

-What? I presented it in high school and it was a total success, I was the director of it.

-Well, there's no way...

The play wasn't as typical as Romeo and Juliet, and it wasn't one that many people in the class knew about, so they wanted to perform it.

After passing the "censorship" filters, so to speak, it was approved and put into pre-production, counting mainly on the budget for the expenses of the play.

All that remained was to hold auditions.

The characters were not many, they were the necessary ones. Among them were Leon Trotsky (evidently), his wife Natalia, Ramon Mercader or Jacques Mornard, David Alfaro Siqueiros, Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera and Silvia Ageloff as well as some extras like a policeman or a friend of Siqueiros.
