Yuna was rolling around in her bed, drenched in sweat, babbling things that even she couldn't understand. She was having the most horrible nightmare.
The drops of sweat slipped from her forehead to her neck, she was sweating in a way that looked like she was cooking in an oven, but she was not. Yuna was lying in her bed.
-No... No, tell me that's a lie, Yuuki tell me that's a lie. -She was mumbling, but in the dream she was screaming it.
Soon not only was sweat pouring down her cheeks, but tears were adding to her nightmare.
-No! -Yuna woke up screaming, crying inconsolably.
Her father, who had half his tie on, ran to her room to see what was wrong. When he saw her holding her pillow tightly and sobbing, he was quite surprised.
Yuna hadn't woken up like that since she was a child, on one occasion when she dreamt how a monster ate her favorite stuffed animals.
Kirito was walking to the train station, yawning, Eugeo was on a lamp post drinking coffee from a thermos flask as he waited for his friend to arrive.
-I can see you're wasting energy, why are you like this now? -Eugeo asked him.
-Why isn't teacher Asuna coming today? -He cried.
-Let's go, let's go. You've got me, isn't that enough? -Eugeo smiled and opened his arms.
-It's not like this guy's in love with you, buddy.
-Hey, Kirito, don't be so sharp. Say thank you that you have friends.
-Tch. Anyway, we're going to miss the train.
At school Professor Klein was talking to some students about the theories of social change and historical materialism and how they could be related after a centralist committee in power.
-Marx claimed that the class struggle is the engine of history. In the case of the school, its motor would be the power struggles between radicals and conservatives, we may now have a centralist committee but now the struggle will be more inclined. (Let it be noticed that I paid attention to the Marxism seminar of the university :v)
-Ohhh.
Kirito was changing his indoor shoes while listening to Eugeo and Alice's conversations. He was still getting nervous but not as nervous as he had been the first few times.
Friday was the day he hated the most as he didn't see "his little girl", which was ironic as Asuna was bigger than Kirito, although he was taller in stature.
You could hear something bad happening in the next corridor, several knocks were sounding in the lockers, as if they were being violently beaten.
Eiji was screaming incessantly as was Yuuki, who was running towards Kirito.
-Go, you have to run, she wants to kill you! -Yuuki jabbered.
-Who wants to kill me?
-Kirito!
-Oh, Mummy. Well, here broke a cup and each one for his house. -He simply closed his locker and ran to the first classroom he saw. (This may not make sense in English, since in Spanish it is "Aquí se rompió una taza y cada quien para su casa" that forms a rhyme, but in English it seems not)
The voice could not be distinguished by him. It was a woman's voice, but the scream had been uttered with such fury that it was not human, it was a demon's, a ghost's, or anything less than a sixteen year old girl's.
Kirito had locked the door, knocks on it began to thunder violently, frightening him, almost cutting out his heart.
What was happening? why out of nowhere someone wanted to beat him to death. He hadn't made Asuna angry, who might be the only one who could get angry like that.
