Classes were over, Kirito and Eugeo were taking the train home, each talking about his thoughts on the school day.
They agreed on the fact that it could have been a lot better. Eugeo hadn't talked to Alice since she was with her friends.
To Kirito, Yuna had played a joke on him by hiding his rucksack in his locker. It wasn't until the boy had to take out a notebook from there that he realized where the damn rucksack was.
Anyway, things could have been better.
-See you tomorrow, buddy. -Eugeo said goodbye, bumping fists with Kirito.
-Till tomorrow. -Everyone left on their own.
Kirito had to pass by Suguha at his classes to get to eat together. Besides, it was always a complete joy to see her laugh at her brother's school stories.
When the day wasn't exactly beautiful, she would cheer him up with her witticisms, like throwing water from the sink when she cleared the table after lunch.
Kirito was quite hungry, and much hungrier for the food Asuna was preparing. He hadn't been able to stay for lunch since breakfast last Saturday, and they were both too busy to sit around talking and playing cards or chess.
Asuna's car was outside a dance school that had the same logo as her jacket that time, so Kirito went inside to lok around a bit.
The music was loud enough, penetrating every cell in her body, but not as loud as what her eyes were seeing. It was like Hernan Cortés finding the gold of the Sad Night before he lost it.
Asuna's hair was tied back, she had sports shorts and a belly button. Seeing the teacher's bare body was not what had captivated him... but his way of dancing.
Every movement of her hips, her arms, shoulders and even her face when she danced was like receiving a stab in the heart. A thrust that made him bleed with love for her, was to feel weak before the world by seeing her move her body to the rhythm of the music.
He had been watching her, without saying anything and without making any gesture. You could only see the love in his black eyes that reflected Asuna.
When she finished dancing, Kirito applauded him, he could not help himself and did not want to. But the others could see him.
-Kirito? What are you doing here? -she asked.
-I saw the car outside and decided to come in, I hope you didn't mind.
-No, but... It was quite a surprise.
Asuna's companions secreted various things, they all had to do with the young man whose eyes shone with how in love he was.
-I'd like to stay and watch you dance another piece... but I have to go get my sister before she scolds me for being late. -Kirito approached her and, although he was sweating slightly from his face, he gave her a kiss on the cheek. -See you later, Asuna.
When she left, all of Asuna's classmates threw a "Uyyy".
-Shut up, he's my high school student. -She sentenced.
-He's super in love with you. Didn't you see his face?
-He's eyes were shining when she saw you dance, I swear.
-He walked in like he was nothing, but he froze at the sight of you. He is crazy for you, Asuna.
-Don't talk nonsense. He's six years younger than me, it would practically be a crime.
-Not because you both consent to the relationship, no one's forcing you.
-He may be a child... but the truth is, he is handsome.
