With some sleep as he walked to the train station, Kirito let out a huge yawn. His homework consumed him more and more, but he kept standing in the middle of the torrential rain that was coming down more and more.
During the last few days he was saving a little money so that he could buy Asuna a present and she not feel so lonely while he was away. But it was something risky since a gift of that kind could be quite compromising at that time of the year, being very delicate.
Eugeo rubbed his hands while waiting for his good friend, when he saw him thinking, he threw a snowball at her face. The more the days went by, the harder the snow became to find on the streets.
-Hey buddy, you're pretty groggy today. I mean, more than usual, what's wrong with you? -he asked.
-Nothing, I just had to sleep a little later than usual. -That "later than usual" was actually almost two and a half hours of sleeplessness every day.
On the train, more than once Kirito almost fell to the ground because he didn't hold on to the safety tube properly. Eugeo had to hold on to himself and his good friend so that he wouldn't fall. Two stations before arriving at the academy, Eugeo threw him into a place that was already empty, sighing heavily.
He had to make sure that his didn't fall to the ground, Kirito was sleeping soundly and when he heard the warning that it was already a minute away from Adachi station, Eugeo shook him violently to wake up his old friend.
-Come on, comrade, wake up, for a demon! -he muttered as he shook Kirito's shoulder.
-Damn it... I'm so sleepy. -He mumbled.
As we came down, the cold woke Kirito slightly, activating his brain as if to indicate that the day would not be too heavy, which was already a lot of gain.
Inside the academy, Alice was quite excited about the day. She was already looking forward to getting out of the academy even though the classes hadn't even started.
One of her friends noticed that she was quite excited, she was very anxious. -What's wrong, Alice? -Are you okay today? -she asked.
-More or less... The thing is, I'm going on a "date" with Eugeo today. -She answered.
-With Eugeo? The shy boy from class B? I don't know what you and the others see in him, he's handsome and all...but too shy, like I told you.
-He's cute...but he's very shy. He has never dared to say that he invites me to have a "date", I get the impression that he thinks that I might get offended if he says that I will have a date with him.
-And that's why Gabriel Garcia Marquez used to say "The shy ones are the most dangerous ones" behind that "innocence" someone else can hide, that's why he doesn't give me so much confidence.
-Yuuki and Yuna trust him a lot. If they do, why don't I? They know him much better.
-Being in love with a shy boy is not so simple, someone else can come along and steal your heart, so don't get your hopes up too high with Eugeo.
Alice remained pensive while her friend was leaving. She wondered two things. The first was how right she was that she shouldn't get her hopes up too high. And second, who was Gabriel Garcia Marquez?
As for the first question, which needed to be answered at that moment, the truth is that hardly anyone was flirting with Alice, even though she was quite pretty. At most, she was flattered or similar, but she was not aware of anyone wanting to be her boyfriend. The best thing was not to think about that, she preferred to be in love with Eugeo, since he was a very funny young man in spite of his great shyness.
