Chapter 4.- The August rains.

There are few things that many people hate about August: the torrential rains.

Sometimes the streets are completely flooded and you could easily be on a boat to street X in a matter of five minutes, compared to the twenty minutes it would take you to drive.

That was one of the occasions, many had arrived at the academy extremely wet. Although Kirito and Eugeo weren't among them, they had their umbrellas, plus they had left by train, as usual.

The two of them bothered those who were almost soaked, it was their revenge for being thrown away by others for the rest of the years.

-Turn to your left. -Kirito whispered.

-What? -Eugeo asked.

-To your left! -Kirito pushed Eugeo, who in turn pushed a girl.

-Listen to me, you bastard! Forgive me, it was my fault... friend. -Eugeo was left in front of the girl he liked.

-Don't worry... Eugeo?

-Yes, that's me, hehe. Did you get wet coming to the academy? -The girl was completely soaked, she looked like she'd taken a shower with her clothes on.

-No. -She replied with a chuckle. I got wet in my house, isn't that strange? 

-Maybe a little, it shouldn't be much, but of course, why wouldn't it be weird? It's not like a lot of people go into the bath with their clothes on, anyone would say they were sick in the head.

Kirito, who was looking out from behind a wall, only patted his forehead in disappointment.

-You're spying on the girl you like? -asked teacher Asuna, who was standing next to Kirito.

-God, why does everyone keep scaring me these days?! -he asked.

-What are you looking at?

-My clumsy friend making a fool of himself in front of the girl he likes.

Eugeo made a lot of nervous gestures, besides he didn't stop "cantinflear"(Mexican expression that means "to speak without saying anything"). Making Alice laugh, but making her feel uncomfortable anyway.

Yuna arrived soaked by the rains, Yuuki had borrowed a towel from the teacher's lounge to dry her hair.

-I told you to come by taxi. -Yuuki scolded.

-I just didn't have any money. -Yuna looked like a scolded kitten.

-I told you I'd pay you back by coming to the academy.

-I don't like taking taxis... it's traveling with people I don't know. -Yuna noticed that Kirito and Asuna were hiding behind a wall. -Who are we spying on? -she asked.

-Hey, what time?

-We saw how the student Eugeo made a fool of himself with the girl he liked. -Said Asuna.

-Hum, I thought Eugeo wasn't a pitiful boy. -Yuuki whispered.

-And that. Although as I said, if you like him there's nothing wrong with him, or why should he?

-Not Eugeo, I don't think there's anything wrong with him either. Although it was sarcasm, of course I got wet coming to the academy without an umbrella.

-Ah, you remember my name, who would have thought?

-I've known it for a few semesters now. -Alice looked at her watch. -See you later, Eugeo.

-Yes, I'm late too, but... -What's your name? -Although Eugeo knew the girl's name perfectly, he wanted to hear it from her lips.

-He called me Alice. See you later. -Alice rushed to her salon.
