Chapter 20.-War in the snow.

December, snowy season, cold, and hot coats to take shelter all day long.

It was a Thursday, the students would have the last class of the week with teacher Asuna, and so Yuuki would put his hands in action.

She had had the brilliant idea of organizing something between them to have some fun in the snow that was falling during those days. It was no surprise to anyone that she and Yuna had the soul of a child, so they thought they'd have as much fun as possible in the winter snow.

They would run through the corridors, arriving at the lockers to leave their coats there, taking a notebook that was practically a "notebook of ideas" that they could do during their meeting in the snow.

They had written down an infinite number of places where they could meet for the celebration, although they would choose one or two to see each other, as long as they were close by.

-Did we invite Professor Klein? -Yuna asked.

-Yes, the more the merrier. -Yuuki answered, holding her hand to keep running.

Eiji was looking at Yuuki with some suspicion knowing that Yuna had no "preferences" as far as his tastes were concerned, so that made him slightly jealous.

Professor Klein was arriving with a red scarf and gloves with white edges, as well as a small Russian-style hat.

When the two girls stood in front of him, he simply greeted them as usual and quite cordially. He was ready to leave when Yuuki took his arm.

-Hold on a second. -She ordered him, laughing.

-Miss Yuuki, let me go. You're making me nervous. -Klein replied with some trepidation.

-I wanted to know if you would come with the playmakers on a little "after-school activity".

-Hum, what a name they gave you. I don't know what it is, but if you two organize it, I'm sure I'll go.

-Yes! -Both friends hugged. -We'll go play in the snow! -Yuuki announced.

-Huh? Well, it's been about seven years since I stopped. What's wrong with feeling like I'm her age again?

All set with Klein, the "Two Y's" now went to Alice's classroom, with whom they'd made a medium-size friendship since Asuna's birthday. Which, by the way, they also had to tell her.

Alice accepted with all the pleasure of the world, only her two good friends were missing and everything would be ready.

They were just arriving, yawning and with no trace of joy on their faces. Eiji kept spying on Yuna, since he had not been invited yet.

He was in that stage of "denial", thinking in his head that it was only a matter of time before he was invited, that it was not wrong to think that Yuna was only giving preference to his friends because she had not seen him.

However, there was his jealous side, the one that told him that Yuna was not going to invite him, and that even if he asked her she would deny him everything no matter what the evidence was.

Anyway, Eiji was in a kind of "moral and conscience debate" waiting for what was going to happen.

The two boys who were just coming in, accepted with all the pleasure of the world...except one of them, since he had his slight doubts.

-And is Alice going? -Eugeo asked with suspicion.

-She was the first to confirm. -Yuuki answered with the same suspicion.

-Excellent... -Eugene return to Kirito, who only gave himself a slap on the forehead.

Only Asuna and Eiji were missing. In the perspective of the quartet, nobody had seen him, because he was hiding, spying on Yuna and the other members of that curious group of friends.
