Chapter 29

Lisa's POV

I was walking through campus with my handphones on just vibing away to my music until I felt a weight jump on my back.

"What the hell" I mumbled

"Boo"  the person said removing my ear phone from my ear and I instantly recognized her voice

"Hey Jen" I said to Jennie as I gently set her down

"Hey you"  she said giving me a hug

"What's up?" I asked as I played with the straps of my backpack

"Not much but have you gone to art gallery lately?" She asked and I shook my head

"Well then come on" she said and grabbed my hand started dragging me towards the art gallery.

She seemed excited and eager which made me excited. What could she possibly be showing me

Once we walked in she told me to close my eyes so I did and she held my hand intrusting me on where to go.

"Okay okay we are here , opne your eyes." she said

So I did what I was told and right there displayed in a nice frame were the sketches that her and I did the other day. The ones where I drew the bodies and she did the clothes.

Underneath it was a sign that said

"Lisa Manoban and Jennie Ruby Jane Kim" it was cool

"Oh shit this is awesome Jen I said and she was smiling so big .

"I know we did that" she said as she put  her hand up and gave me a high five

I took a few pictures of it and we stayed for a little while longer until we were ready to leave. On our way out we passed the bulletin board that has announcements and dates for stuff and she stopped me to look at them.

"Hey look Lis. There's gonna be a street art  showcase in China with a  bunch of your favourite artists" she said and I sighed

"Yea. I know. I tried getting tickets but  that sold out fast and it's like highly impossible to get into it" I said

"Aww" she said and I was pouting now remembering the fact that I couldn't go. man what I'd do to go to something like that.

"Well I'm sure they'll be a next time" she said with a sad smile.

"Yea hopefully" I mumbled

"Aww lis" she said while giving me a hug "alright then , I have to get to class. But put that pout away. I'll see you later alright" she said and gave me another hug goodbye.

"Bye Jennie" I said and began to make my way to my car to go home

I heard a click and saw a flash go off
"Hey no pictures of me" I said jokingly while shoving Irene's brand new Polaroid that I got for her out of my face.

"Aw but you looked so cute and concentrated from this angle" she said

I looked down at her and couldn't help but smile. She looked so beautiful as her hair was spread across the blanket on the grass while she was surrounded by Polaroids that she took today.

We were currently at this park that was  by my house. It was usually always empty around these hours so that was good. We were up on a little a tree. Instead of driving we came on bikes and we were having a little picnic. I ofcourse as always bought my drawing supplies and was drawing the gorgeous girl.
