Lisa's POV

It was Monday and I was at work with this decision still  on my mind.

I wasn't doing much work  which is unusual for me because usually I'm right on it

As my eyes starred to my unfinished work on my screen I got a text on my phone and my eyes widened when I saw it was Irene she hasn't talked to me much just few Goodmornings and goodnights

[Joohyun 🌹💞: hey I'm back in Seoul for a couple of days for a photoshoot. Just wanted to let you know.]

[Me: that's awesome I missed you. Can I see you soon?]

[Joohyun 🌹💞: I can't make any promises because I'm on a  super tight schedule but hopefully tommorow night?]

[Me: Sounds perfect I look forward to it]

My attention got taken by my boss clearing his throat and Calling everyone's attention

"Alright ladies and gentlemen I have an announcement to make" he said "As you know tommorow is big night for us as it's our annual art banquet"

"And we've chosen which pieces are going up and we've picked the top3  big pieces"

"And lastly the one our number one spot and is our  headliner is by new comer Lalisa Manoban"he announced which made me shoot my head up

What?!

Everyone in the office began to clap for me and cheered giving me  congratulations

"Wait Seriously?" I asked he nodded

"Congratulations Lisa you've been here  a very short time but we've fallen in love with your work you're very talented all eyes will be on you tommorow" he said and then everyone resumed their work

"Hey congratulations Lisa I'm happy for you" Key Said my coworker who sits next to me

"Thankyou I appreciate it" I said

"You know that means you get to bring a date right?" He said

"What?" I asked

"You're allowed to bring one guest and since you're gonna be the main event I suggest bringing a date." He said

"Oh seriously?" I asked he nodded

"I brought my girlfriend last year with me when I had the main event" he told me

"Thanks for the tip men" I said

I sent a text to Irene immediately

[Me: I HAVE A GOOD NEWS]

[Joohyun 🌹💞: What is it?]

[Me: I completely forgot about the art banquet my company having tommorow night and my boss just announced that I have the top spot my works going to be headliner]

[Joohyun 🌹💞: Baby I'm so proud of you  you deserve this so much]

[Me: thankyou I appreciate it babe and well there's something I wanted ask you I'm allowed to bring one guest with me and I really want you here with me do you think you could make it?]

[Joohyun 🌹💞:. Oh baby you know I'd love to be there more than anything but like I said I have a really tight schedule. I don't want to promise you I can]

[Me: oh okay

[Joohyun 🌹💞:  Lisa....]

[Me: can you please  atleast try please? I don't get a lot of accomplishment like this.]
