Chapter 40

Lisa's POV

I woke up the next morning when I heart shouting coming from downstairs

I rubbed my eyes yawned but then I immediately got flooded by memories of last night and I got a horrible pain in my chest

I laid back down covered my face with the pillow not wanting to cry when I just woke up I did enough crying already. I basically cried all night

I grabbed my phone and saw amount of text and missed calls I had from Irene I just skimmed through the paragraphs but it was all the same thing , her saying sorry and that she loves me so much.

The shouting downstairs stopped and my door opened . I looked up and was met with Jennie

"Hey you're up" jennie Said

"W- what are you doing here?" I asked

"Tae called and explained to me what happened yesterday night" she said

"Oh"

"How do you feel?" She asked as she sat on the edge of my bed

"Like someone ripped my heart out of my chest" I said and I saw her pout

"Lisa I'm sorry if I caused anything-"

"I mean no lie you were apart of the whole mess but it wasn't just you. Irene and I never really had a fight this big but it was mainly her" I said

"So tell me what happened" she said as she sat closer to me

"So- I got home and I saw her sitting on the front porch. Then next thing I know she slapped me I was shocked-"

"Wait. She slapped you?" Jennie asked completely pissed

"Yea-h"I said

"Who the hell does she think she is?" She said and I laughed

"Just chill it's over now" I said

"Lisa she laid a hand on you and you expect me to chill? No that's another level-"

"Jennie. I didn't die okay" I said calming her down

"I heard you almost passed out tho" she responded

"Yeah I was gonna have like a fucking panic attack or something" I said in joking manner

"Stop treating it like a joke Lisa you don't have to try to be tough around me" she said

"I'm just trying to lighten up things" I said and Jennie sighed but then changed the topic

"How about breakfast? Come we made some" she said

"No thankyou I'm not hungry I'm just gonna stay here" i said as I covered my head with blanket

"No you are not. I'm not gonna leave you to be depressed" she said

I was gonna respond but then my phone started ringing. I grabbed it and saw it was Irene. My heart dropped

I looked up and met Jennie's eyes.

"Lisa if that's her don't answer it" she said

"Let me atleast check on her" I said

"Come on Lisa she doesn't deserve it" she said

"I just want to make sure she's okay" I said

"I'm sure she's fine" she said as she snatched my phone and tossed it on the other side of the bed "Come on let's go eat. Please you have to eat something" she said
