Keith stood by the front door, refusing to play ball. He's not gonna be part of this, he won't be Pidge's tour guide. It wasn't as though he knew what de hell was going on in the lab anyway.

He can't believe Shiro had the nerve to ask him to give a GIRL a tour of this lab. Now he, Keith has to show the little intern around, no way.

"Keith" Shiro gave him his first warning.

"No way, I'm not giving that little girl sitting outside a tour of the place. I have things to do and places to be. She's not my intern! She's yours." He said crossing his arms.

"For your information, that little girl outside is probably ten times as smart as you are."

"Hey!! I'm not THAT dumb, brother"

"Just do it Keith"

Keith huffed and walked out of Shiro's office. When he stepped outside he was met with a very excited looking girl with big hazel eyes and Circular glasses.

"Hi, I'm Pidge."

"I know." He said as he walked past her down the hall. She barely kept up with his pace
"Shiro said that he'll ask someone to show me around, are that someone?"

"Aye, not that I had a choice." He mumbled

She pushed her classes further up the bridge of her nose. "Seems like SOMEONE doesn't like me all to much."

He shrugged. "Don't take it personal." He pushed the doors open to one of the rooms. He motioned for her to enter, she didn't need a second invitation.
Pidge ran inside and squealed as she ran from one of the robots to to another gadget, picking it up to examine it closer.

"This is amazing! Whoever made this knew exactly what they were doing, the craftsmanship is incredible." She gently put it down and moved on to the next piece of tech laying around.

She peeked into some of the crates standing around and let out another high pitched squeal.
He felt like parent watching over a toddler with no self control. He smiled she's amusing.

She took out a little pyramid shaped robot, a prototype Shiro and Matt has been working on.
She held it up in the air "Look at this piece of art. I have to finish this!" She shouted, wiggling her shoulders and throwing her head back.

Keith couldn't help but smile even brighter at the gesture, he's never seen someone get so excited about technology in his life.

"Put it down Pigeon, you'll break it." Matt came in with a cocky grin on his face.

"I think the probability of me breaking this is smaller than the probability of you getting a girlfriend and that is zero since you have absolutely no charm." Pidge joked back.

"Says the girl who dresses like a boy, am I right my dear Katie Holt."

Keith raised his eyebrows, so her name is Katie huh
Nice name. He couldn't stop smiling while watching them, maybe the girl isn't THAT bad. Get it together Keith.
"We should continue, I want to get home." Keith spoke up.

"Oh hey, it's emo Keith." Matt waved like a little child while smiling brightly. Keith rolled his eyes in response. "Come on Katie."

Pidge looked at Matt for answers, he just shrugged and shoo'd her out of the room to follow Keith.

"So what's your problem with me."She asked when she caught up with him.  "I don't have a problem with you."
"Of course you have, don't think I didn't hear what you said to Shiro, don't worry I wasn't eavesdropping, you were talking pretty loud. "

He didn't answer for a few minutes "I just don't like talking or being around people I don't know. I don't like strangers." He felt bad for being so negative, like he's being a soggy, wet towel on her parade.

"Everybody is a stranger before they become a friend" She gave him a reassuring smile

He almost smiled back, almost. "Are you saying we're going to be friends?" That doesn't sound so bad

"Well ya never know, maybe we'll even be best friends in the future." She playfully punched him in the shoulder.  He gave a small grin.  "Yeah maybe."

Shiro smiled from his office, he watched his little brother with the girl on the camera feed. He didn't miss Keith's expression while watching Pidge.

This girl should be good for his little  brother....hopefully
