She finished as she looked sharply made him leave her room in an instant.
She breathed out in anger and her face turned red. She rubbed her bridge of the nose in frustration.
The partners are too much for her patience. She won't make any mistakes and if they do, then there's no way she ain't gonna turn a blind eye.
I think I will get a headache now.
She muttered under her breath but nonetheless she looked at her laptop.
It's full of emails but there's one that got her attention.
Ofc it's from Lalisa Manoban herself.
Her eyes went wide just with the name as she stiffened in her chair.
And the time shows its from a while back. She needs to check what it is about.
She opened it and read the email thoroughly.
Meeting? With the Australian business partners? Her cat like feline eyes were serious.
She picked up her phone and called her secretary Vanessa to come inside.
In a minute she heard a knock on the door.
Come in! She said and the door opened revealing her PA
She walked towards Jennie's table and stood there.
Vanessa, cancel all the meetings tomorrow. I will be at Manoban corps.
Prepare a presentation. Get it?
She asked and Vanessa nodded smiling.
Good. You may leave now. She said as she looked back at her laptop checking her other mails.
Her p.a. left in a second closing the door.
I didn't know we have a meeting this soon. She should've just called me. She thought and pouted.
She leaned back in her chair as she heaved a sigh.
I miss you Lisa. Her eyes closed for a second as she recollecting the memories from their date.
She smiled with those thoughts. For the first time ever Jennie feels genuinely happy and it's all because of her.

Her thoughts were interrupted when there's a knock on her door.
She opened her eyes and said come in with her deep voice.
It's Vanessa again.
Jennie raised her brow to let her say what it's about.
Mam, Mrs. Manoban is here to see you.
She said which made Jennie almost jolted up from her seat.
Mrs. Manoban? Jennie asked for the second time Coz she thought may be she didn't hear it clearly.
