It didn't take long for Rossi to pack your bags from the hotel and drive to the jet. You struggled to stay awake, feeling sicker by the second.
Rossi pulled the SUV up to the jet, putting it in park. The others wouldn't be far behind. He looked over at you, taking in your sick appearance.
He pressed his palm to your forehead, sighing, "You have a fever, y/n."
You groaned, "No shit..." you couldn't help it, you got cranky when you were sick. And after the day's events you were extra cranky.
Rossi caressed your cheek, "Let's get you to the jet so you can rest." You sighed, wiping at your face.
Rossi gave you one last worried look before exiting the car and grabbing the bags from the back. You opened your door and slid out of the car, closing it behind you.
Rossi carried the bags up the jet stairs and disappeared inside. You slowly made your way to it, just wanting to curl up in a ball and sleep.
The other SUVs pulled up as you entered the jet, the rest of the team arriving.
You walked inside just as Rossi finished pushing your bags into a compartment. You blinked your eyes hard, "Team's here." You flopped down in an open seat, not caring where you sat. You could honestly sleep on a concrete floor at the moment and just be happy to be laying down.
Rossi came to your side, "Come on, you're taking the couch." He gripped your hands, pulling you up.
"Spence likes the couch though..." you protested, a frown on your face.
"I don't think he'll mind, y/n." You mumbled a curse but allowed him to lead you to the couch in the back of the jet.
You flopped down on it as the team filed in with their own bags. Rossi sat down next to you, feeling your forehead again.
You pushed his hand away, "I'm sure my head is the same temperature it was a few minutes ago, Dave." He gave you a look and you sighed.
Derek came over, "You still sick Lil Mama?"
You shrugged, "I don't know.
Rossi gave you a dirty look and then glanced to Derek, "She has a fever."
Derek cringed, "Those suck. You want me to get you some water?"
"No, I'm-"
"Yes, thank you, Derek." Rossi cut you off. Derek gave a small smile and headed over to the mini fridge.
You shot Rossi a scowl, "I'm fine, I don't need people slaving over me."
Hotch came over next, "Everything okay?"
You sighed, "Tell Dave a fever isn't bad. It doesn't mean I'm sick."
Hotch's eyebrows furrowed, "I think a fever means you're sick."
Spencer popped over the seat, "A fever is the body's way of fighting off an infection." You cursed under your breath and Rossi gave you a triumphant smirk. Derek came back with a water and handed it to you.
"Thanks, Der, but you didn't have to. Don't let him boss you around." you sent Rossi a glare.
Derek let out a small chuckle, "Okay, Lil Mama." he walked away, flopping into a seat next to JJ and Emily.
"If you need anything-" you cut Hotch off.
"I'll be okay, Hotch. It's a fever, it's not like I'm dying. After today, a fever isn't all that bad." You could see his face flinch, remembering the police station incident.
