18. Finally mine

KATS POV

I was woken up this morning by the fluorescent lighting of the hospital room. I slowly opened my eyes letting them adjust to the bright lights I looked to my left and saw that Harry was lying next to me in the chair asleep. I smiled at him as Niall walked through the door. " hey princess" he smiled closing he door behind him. the way he called me princess sent shivers up my spine " morning Niall" I said back
" The boys will be here in about half an hour. I ran home to get you some clothes. I hope their okay. I got your make up as well just in case." he's soo sweet. I just love it. " thanks niall" I sighed as I threw my head onto my pillow when I heard a camara click. I shot my head up at Niall who was posting a picture of Harry on twitter. a couple of seconds later my phone went off. I pulled out of under my pillow and saw naill had tweeted;

I opened the picture to see Harry sleeping holding my hand. I saved the picture and decided to tweet

I heard haz's phone buzz as he jumped out of his chair in shock. me and Niall started laughing as Harry looked at us confused before he picked up his phone and read the tweets. he started to chuckle too. the doctor walked in and asked me to sign some forms and explained to me how to use my medication "and you'll have to use these crutches for the next 2 months and then you can come back and we'll see how you are". I nodded instead of replying. he walked out and Niall gave me my clothes as Louis burst through the door. "OH MY GOD KAT I BARELY MADE IT THROUGH THE NIGHT WITHOUT YOU" he screamed dramatically as he walked through the door putting his hand on his forehead before pretending to faint onto the chair. we all roared with laughter. Louis opened his eyes and found that he was on Harry's lap. " harry!!" He shouted a little too loudly " right guys I think we should leave Kat to get changed" Liam suggested ushering them out of the door. I got up and picked my clothes up off the bed-side table. I hopped over to the bathroom and got changed. Niall had brought me some jogging bottoms and one of my baggy shirts that had "NYC" on it. I threw them on and put my hair in a high pony tail. I limped out of the bathroom and grabbed my crutches wincing in pain as I moved my knee. Niall and Harry came through the door to pick up my things and then we left. we walked down the seemingly endless corridors until we finally saw the exit. as we got closer I could see the flashing lights. it was about 1:30 so it wasn't dark but I could see the flash of the paps the boys surrounded me and Eleanor as we moved as swiftly and quickly as possible. we exited the hospital into the sea of paparazzi. they were yelling questions like "what happened?" And "boys why were you at the hospital what happened to the girls?" We all kept moving forwards towards the van. we got to the van and the boys helped me and Eleanor in and then the paps started to swarm the car. Louis put his foot down on the gas... hard. Me and Eleanor squealed with the pain we felt from such sudden movement. it was so hard being on crutches. but if I wanted to be able to dance again then I had to put up with it. We pulled up the drive to the house and Niall helped me out of the car and up the steps. every step I took hurt I couldn't stand the pain. I felt Niall put his hand on my back to support me. I paused for a moment then continued up the steps towards the door.

NIALLS POV

I helped Kat out of the car and we were walking up the steps. I could tell se was in pain. every step she took she'd grit her teeth and squeeze her eyes closed and breathe in sharply. I placed my hand on her small back and she paused for a minute before continuing up the steps. we got to the door and I pulled it open. weird. it was unlocked. " boys didn't we lock this?" I asked turning round looking at the boys "yeah I locked it and put the alarm system up why?" Liam asked confused. I paused for a moment " because it's unlocked" I said concerned " right Niall, take Kat straight to her room and lock the door. stay there with her. Louis you do the same with Eleanor. don't come out till we say" Liam instructed sternly. I nodded back to him and picked Kat up carrying her bridal style up the stairs to her room. luckily we put chocolate and mcdonalds and things in there before we left. I threw the door open to her room and placed Kat gently on her bed. I closed the door and locked it just as the boys said. I sat next to Kat on her bed " Niall I'm scared" she almost whispered. "hey hey princess don't worry all of us will be fine. I promise." I said pushing my chin into her head. I got up and pulled the tv screen down from the ceiling. her eyes lit up "that's cool. I never knew that was there!!" She cried in excitement. I opened the trap door in the floor and pulled the projector out . she had shock covering her face. I chuckled under my breath. "what d'you wanna watch babe." I asked "ummm, I wanna watch... hairspray!!" She giggled. I heard a noise in her bathroom. I turned round but I must've been hearing things. I put the DVD in and sat by kat. we were singing along to every song giggling, copying the characters. just having a wonderful time. we were on the song ' I can hear the bells' we were laughing along to the song " Niall... I think I like you" Kat said insecurely " I like you too kat. you're awesome" I replied a smile plastered on my face " thanks Niall !!" She chirped as she glued her eyes back on the film. I held her cheek pulling her towards me gently " Kat from the second I met you I knew you were different. special and I knew that I liked you. and now I'm sure Kat. I want us to be more than friends..." I paused for a minute biting my lip. I looked her in the eyes she was near tears and she was smiling " Kat styles will you be my girlfriend?" I ask grabbing her hand interlocking our fingers biting the corner of my lip. " Niall..." she started oh no she didn't like me back. here came the 'I'm sorry' speech "Niall. I thought you'd never ask yes I'd love to." she cried I pulled her into my arms. she crashed her lips into mine. this kiss set fireworks of in my stomach. a feeling I'd never got off anyone else. I thought I heard a door open but I thought it would just be the boys so we didn't break apart. Kat was giggling through our kiss " I love you" she was saying I smiled. she was finally mine. but then I remembered something... I locked the bedroom door. before I could think anymore I heard a voice but it wasn't one of the boys "Kat?" It said almost as a question. we pulled away and there was a boy standing in front of us but I didn't know who he was. he looked around mine and Kat's age but he had some sort of accent. how did he get in here though? "Justin!!" Kat replied "how could you Kat who even is this?!?" He was screaming at Kat and started to walk towards us. I pulled Kat closer towards me. I mean I didn't know who the hell this guy was and he was mad and walking towards us.

KATS POV

No, no,no,no,no,no,no why was Justin here but more importantly why was he so upset? I was so mad and confused. how did he get in? He was walking towards us I got nervous I decided my only chance was to scream " HARRY, LIAM, ZAYN... HELP!!!" Justin pulled my out of Niall's grip I was crying now " leave her alone!" Niall screamed " no, me and Kat have always had a connection I'm not having you ruin it. I've been looking for her for 2 months and I've finally found her you went ruin this for me" I was scared of him right now " Niall Kat let us in" I heard the boys outside the door. I couldn't scream it would set Justin off. I gave Niall a look and he knew what I meant. he ran to the door unlocking it. Harry burst through. His face looked mad he saw me crying when Justin tightened his grip on me "GET OFF MY SISTER!!" Harry screamed running at Justin Niall ran to but he grabbed hold of me Harry tackled Justin almost taking me with him. Niall was strong enough to hold me up though he picked me up taking me over to the door I leaned on Liam for support and Zayn went to get Louis and Niall went to control Harry. he was punching Justin really hard. I cried into Liam's shoulder. " WHAT DO YOU THINK YOURE DOING YOU CREEP" Harry screamed at Justin. " I have come for Kat" Justin smirked. I couldn't take it anymore I ran at Justin I didn't care about the pain in my leg I started throwing punches at Justin. I was growing weak and Harry could tell " Niall take Kat somewhere else we'll deal with him." Niall scooped me up in his arms and I gave up fighting. he took me to the pillow room and we started to watch films " Don't worry Kat we will sort all of this out. he won't bother you again " Niall cooed rocking me in my arms as Ariel sang part of your world. but I couldn't fall asleep. we stayed like this for a good few hours. until I heard sirens. I jolted upright hurting my knee. I cried in pain as Niall moved to calm me down I leaned on his shoulder as we walked towards the door. the police had Justin in handcuffs and were escorting him out. " I'll be back Kat and you'll be sorry." he scowled as he walked it of the house. Harry came in and joined us to watch films it was 1:05am now and I had Niall one side of me and Harry the other. I felt protected. I felt safe. I now felt extremely tired now. " I'm gonna go to bed boys" I picked up my crutches that Harry had brought down and made my way to my room. I got up there and went over to the mirror. I looked at my reflection. I had a cut above my eye and the other eye was black. my lip was cut open and a gash across my shoulder. I changed into my pajamas and went to bed. I missed my bed these past few days. it was so nice to be home.
