16. Back to school

KATS POV

Three weeks after Harry had caught me cutting, the hate started to die down and I had to go back to school. don't get me wrong I was looking forward to going back but it meant I would have less time to spend with Niall and the boys. me and Niall had spent more and more time together over these last couple of weeks and we had gotten closer and closer and now I wanted to be more than friends. I wanted to make it official but he hadn't asked yet. I'm scared that I'll go back to school and we will drift apart these last couple of weeks have been amazing. and I didn't want them to end. but I had come to study and I missed Eleanor. I eventually climbed out of bed and walked into the bathroom and put my playlist on and got in the shower letting the steamy water hit my skin as I sang along to 'where do broken hearts go' as I washed my hair I had run out of shampoo the other day so I borrowed Niall's I looked at what it was called 'perfectly blonde' I laughed to myself and applied some to my red hair and washing it out. I climbed out of the shower and walked back into my room and saw my uniform spread out on my bed. it was hideous. I couldn't go to school in this. there was the longest skirt I had ever seen with a long tie and long sleeved white shirt "I'm not going in that" I said to myself in disgust. I grabbed a scissors and started to perform major fashion surgery. I picked up the tie and cut it short and then started on my shirt cutting the sleeves so that they were short and then moved on to my skirt. it was cute but it was long so I cut it so that it was just above me knee and put it all on pulling my skirt up so that it was high waisted and tucking my shirt in throwing my tie on and abandoning the tights as it was warm out today. I started on my hair drying it as it fell into its straight position it always is in. I made my way downstairs to find the boys sitting in the living room I walked down the stairs and stood in front of them in my uniform I walked over by Niall and sat next to him putting my heels on. " what happened?" Liam asked looking at me up and down "I redid the uniform" I said with a smile they all sat there staring at me. "what?" I said looking around at them " Kat you can't-" I snapped my head round at Louis giving him death glares before he could finish " I mean it's nice" he replied obviously scared of me " that's what I thought" I answered as Eleanor walked in " oh my god you look totally hot!!" She cried running over to me in her uniform falling over her long skirt "and your make up it gives you a bad girl edge" she said I had eyeliner on with wings and a very light smoky eye and red lipstick on I looked at Harry who was sitting there in shock. " you can't go to school like that" Harry finally spoke up walking over to me " yes I can and you can't stop me" I said the boys shocked at how I was talking to him " I want to change my image at school haz. I want to be known in school and this is my method of getting attention" I spat at him " get upstairs and change NOW!!" He screamed at me fury in his eyes. "NO!!" I screamed back at him as me and Eleanor stormed out. I rushed down the steps and into my side of Ellie's car and we made our way to school. the drive there was quite quiet apart from the radio. we pulled into the car park and Eleanor got out of the car.i reached into my back and re applied my lipstick. I got out of the car the wind blowing my hair backwards. there were groups of girls huddled in groups gasping as I walked past and whispers filled the car park. I knew they were talking about me but I didn't care I walked up to the doors pushing them opened and every head in the corridor turned to the door. and gasps filled the room before a silence fell upon everyone as my heels clicked on the floor. everyone was staring at me. there was a group of boys looking me up and down. I smirked at them waving as I walked passed. me and Eleanor turned a corner and she shouted down the corridor "guys!!" A group of four people turned round and waved to us to come down. we walked down the corridor and when we reached them. I saw they were all looking at someone's phone. "hey Eleanor have you heard Kat styles is starting today" the red headed one
"I know why does she have to come. I hate her. she's such an attention seeker" the blonde headed boy said. I was hurt but didn't say anything. " shut up jake, I can't wait till she gets here the paparazzi got a picture of her leaving this morning. she's soo hot!!" The brown haired one with dark blue tips shouted at jake. I couldn't stand and listen anymore. I giggled. they all looked up at me. shock on their faces. " oh my god your Kat styles Harry styles' sister!!" The red haired girl squealed " Yeah" I said. jake just stood there shock in his face "so I'm an attention seeker am I" I said walking towards him " Katrina Jessica styles" I heard a mans deep voice behind I clenched my teeth. "I'll deal with you later" I said to jake turning round putting on a fake smile "principal Monroe!!" I cried turning round opening my arms in a fake welcoming way. " my office now" I gestured to his left and I groaned and followed him. I walked in and sat on the chair in front of him "what's up sir?" I asked leaning forwards in my seat " okay first-" he started as he turned to face me "sit up" he said sternly I sat up in my chair "so welcome to the school you've only been here 5 minutes and already your violating our rules" he shouted "what've I done?" I asked knowing exactly what I'd done " well he started first you broke the uniform code and-" "in my defence the uniform was horrible I wasn't gonna show up in it. no offence but I wouldn't be seen dead in it" I interrupted "all girls have to wear it it's compulsory. and also what were you saying to jake Coleman when I walked out?"

"Nothing he called me a bunch of names so I told him I'd deal with him later" I shrugged

" Right just try not to get into any more trouble for the rest of the day okay?"he sighed knowing he wasn't going to win " gotcha bye sir" I said walking out of his room " Kat music's the other way" he shouted out to me " knew that" I said walking the other way to my first lesson. I burst through the class door and everyone went silent. I heard whispers of "that's Harry's sister" and "oh that's Kat styles" the teacher was startled when I burst in some girls were giving me death glares I just walked up to the back of my class sat down and put my headphones in. I had music theory and they were finishing off other work so I had free lesson. the rest of the day was pretty much the same we were in math and the bell went for luc hi grabbed my back when Eleanor came over to me with her friends we walked to the main hall and sat on a table " sorry Kat I didn't get chance to introduce you this is Mia" she said as she pointed to the red head " Sam" she said pointing to the really tall one " jake" she said pointing to the blonde one that called me out earlier " and luke" she said like looked up from the table he had brown hair but had died the tips dark blue " hi " I said to all of them as we sat and are food my phone went off it was Justin since I moved I hadn't heard off of him I answered the conversation went a little bit like this

Me: hi
Him: hi how are things over there?
Me; fine hows school ?
Him: torture hey I don't have much time but is it okay if I come and visit you I need to ask you something
Me: ye sure it's fine text me the details later bye
Him: bye Kat
I hung up and finished my food with the others. they were all actually pretty cool I wouldn't introduce them to the boys yet but they were cool. the rest of the day was pretty much a blur. me and Eleanor got in the car and I put my headphones in gazing out of the window. suddenly I heard screaming the car spiralled out of control Eleanor was crying holding on to the wheel as we flipped upside down and rolled and bounced around and then it all went black...
