A couple of hours had passed, and Daryl couldn't sleep.

People came by to check on her and Tara, who had woken up last night.

Daryl watched Theo's chest slowly rise and fall, never looking away.

He chewed on his nail; all he felt was anxiety.

"You need to sleep," Glenn said from behind him, leaning on the door frame with his arms crossed.

"Nah," Daryl answered, sitting back in his chair.

"You know when she got shot, I was so scared" Glenn sat opposite Daryl. "I was scared because I felt as though I had let you down, let her down" Glenn looked at Daryl, saddened by everything that had happened; he blamed himself; he should have known.

"You saved her from getting shot again; you bought her here", Daryl defended. "You might have saved her."

Glenn didn't say anything; he just sat back, leaving the room in comfortable silence between them.

"Can I tell ya something?" Daryl hesitantly looks up.

"Yeah, anything, man," Glenn said, sitting forward.

"If she doesn't wake up. I don't think I can stay here. If she dies, I'm going to have to get out of here," Daryl admitted, trying not to get upset.

Glenn had no idea what he was going to say at that moment.

"I know you guys are all my family. But if I look at you, Carl, anything she loves will hurt me. I won't be able to do this without her," he cried.

"Daryl" Glenn looked at him; Daryl wouldn't meet his eyes, embarrassed of his tears.

"Don't give up hope", He reminded him.

"What the hell happened?" Daryl asked, trying to contain his anger, but he found it challenging. "Whenever I take my eyes off her, she is in trouble..." Daryl sighed

"They let that woman just walk in. There was no sectioning her off like they did with us, no interview, no weapons check. Nothing," Glenn gritted his teeth. And Theo knew who she was, and it just all went out of control from there." Glenn looked up at Daryl, who looked so angry, but not at Glenn.

"And let me guess, Rick was too busy adding fuel to fires instead of fucking putting out the ones that matter", Daryl sighed as Glenn shrugged.

"I know that he killed two walkers that had gotten in not long after he decided to kill Pete; Deanna's husband is dead, too," Glenn chewed his lip.

Daryl couldn't even say anything; he was too mad.

A few hours passed, and there was still nothing.

"I think I might go home. Make sure everyone is okay," Glenn said, walking to the door.

Daryl followed him across the room before looking back at Theo.

Daryl looked back at her, noticing her hands moving slightly.

"Theo?" Daryl quickly sat forward, resting his hand on her leg.

Glenn stopped in his movements to move closer also, noticing the same thing.

Her eyes slowly fluttered open, the light making it hard, but she managed to focus them on Daryl.

"Theo?" Daryl smiled as Glenn rushed to get Rosita and Maggie, who had some medical experience in case.

"Daryl?" she croaked. Her voice was weak. She had been out for almost two days.

"I'm here" He took her hand in his.

"Hey," Rosita smiled as she wandered over to her. She did some routine checks to make sure she was okay.
