The next morning people were gathered, angry and confused and unaware of Deanna's fate. After everything that had happened the previous day, most people's concerns were their families and getting plans to rebuild the wall ready.

Theo walked over to her father who was waiting at the infirmary for her, every other Alexandrian doing the same, sitting in a respectful silence.

"You got this?" Rick asked tapping her shoulder, he wanted her to start making more calls, preparing her for if he ever died, or was no longer around, she had the qualities.

Theo took a breath before nodding.

"Okay..." Theo began as everyone quietened down.

"Where is Deanna?" One person asked, interrupting her before she had even began.

Spencer walked over to them, saddened as he knew.

"She's dead," He put sharply, looking around at the people that were experiencing the same loss.

"Deanna was bit, when the walls came down, she knew what her fate was, and she accepted that. She told me that she wanted changes, and i know, not all of you will want it, but it has to be done" Theo continued, looking towards her father, before turning her attention back on the people who looked at her.

"Me and my daughter have been asked by Deanna to be in charge here" Rick announced, setting off a few whispers and panics.

"And I am in agreement," Spencer called out. "Let's face it, I couldn't do it, my mother barley could, so that's why, this is right" Spencer defended.

"Thank you" Theo smiled genuinely at the man, he may not be a good person, but he was a sensible one.

"You might not believe me, but what happened last night, was obviously meant to happen, you now realise that this isn't easy, working together, working as a community is how we beat something like this, your going to be trained, Rosita has already volunteered to train you all, as you know, Abraham too" Theo nodded towards the large red head who nodded back. "Those who won't be able to rebuild, start training, kids too, they can learn to at least shoot a gun" Theo looked around the community.

"I don't want my daughters holding a gun" One man spoke up aggressively.

"How old are they?" Theo asked, crossing her arms, waiting for an answer.

"7 and 9" He answered, looking Theo in the eyes.

"Okay as long as your child is over the age of 7, they learn to use a gun" Theo shrugged her shoulders. "I know you might not like it, but my brother learned, and he has managed to save himself and his family hundreds of times because he knew what he was doing." Theo explained. The man went quiet before slowly nodding, agreeing.

"Maggie will be beginning to plant and harvest new areas, one day, cans of food will run out, so we have to be ready for that. This place is going to take a couple of weeks to rebuild, that's why if you can help with the walls, and you aren't currently training, help start to clean this place, the streets need to be cleared of these walkers, bodies need to be buried, streets and homes need to be cleaned. I'll be with my brother, get going, we need at least that wall up by the tower up by tonight" Theo nodded before walking inside, not allowing any more arguments.

She walked over to the room where her brother was, he was awake, and he looked as though to be okay

"Oh my god" Theo let out a breath as she walked over to him, hugging him tightly as he hugged her back.

"Are you okay?" Theo asked, worrying in her face, trying to not scare him.

"Yeah, just feels so strange" Carl nodded, looking down at his lap.
