3. Dangerous Woman

Theo smiled to herself before heading down the stairs and out the door, walking over to the doctors hut.

She knocked on the door, the man answering. Dr Carson smiled sweaty at the girl. welcoming her inside.

"How can i help?" He smiled, pointing at the seat in front of him.

"Hi" Theo smiled as she took a seat, she was nervous, this was probably the first time she had been to the 'doctors' since she was 14.

"Can I ask you something?" Theo rubbed her hands together.

He nodded, as Theo began to explain her issue, front her experience before the apocalypse and the trauma she had experienced since the end of the world.

"I can do an ultrasound, see if everything is as it should be" Carson suggested like she had hoped.

Theo smiled in disbelief, she couldn't apprehend how things like that still existed to this day. 

"You really have the stuff like that here?" Theo smiled.

"Yep come on, you want your husband to be here?" He laughed at her amazement.

"Yeah, can i go and get him?" Theo asked, standing up quickly

"Yeah, i'll be at the back" He walked away as Theo ran over to get Daryl.

She walked in a little to fast and startled Daryl as he was alone.

"You alright?" He panicked, scanning his eyes over her.

"Yeah, come on you have to come with me" Theo grabbed his hand and led him back to the medical hut where she headed to the back and met with doctor Carson.

"Ready?" He asked, waiting ready, everything prepared for her return.

"What's going on?" Daryl asked as she laid on the bed, slightly pulling up her top and he placed jelly on her stomach.

"He's going to see if everything is alright, you know with my eggs and that" Theo tried to explain.

"You can do that?" Daryl asked walking closer to Theo, grabbing her hand as Carson scanned her uterus.

"Yep" Carson looked at the screen "And i am happy to tell you that everything is alright, nothing seems to have damage, nothing seems to be wrong, the only thing i can see is that you have less eggs, due to the mishap with your period, but that means you just have to do more, more often" Carson explained as he removed the scan from her stomach.

"But that's all that's wrong?" Daryl asked, looking at him directly.

"Yep, you should be pregnant in the next few times you guys..." Carson began but Daryl stopped him

"We get it" Daryl cut him off.

"So, why haven't i had my period?" Theo asked, wiping the jelly from her stomach. 

"It can be as easy as stress, I have had a lot of women come to me with the same problem, believe me, in this world stress is the clearest answer" Carson explained, walking over to the cupboard, grabbing a bottle of tablets.

"Vitamin E, best thing for women who want to be pregnant" Carson smiled, handing her the entire bottle

"Thank you" Daryl nodded at the man, it was the news they needed to hear. 

"Are you sure I can take all of these?" She questioned. 

"Yeah, a lot of women here have had children and are not planning on having anymore, not only that I have enough supply, we have a lot of things here" He reassured. "As well as them try to drink cinnamon tea at least once a day" He smiled

"Thank you" She smiled at Daryl who looked at though he could burst into tears with happiness.

"I'll leave you guys to talk" Carson walked out leaving them alone.

"Nothing is wrong" Theo smiled as she sat up, Daryl parching between her legs.

"Well, when we get home, we go again" Daryl smirked as he kissed her cheek, holding her hand as she hopped off of the bed.

"What's happening in there?" Theo asked as they headed out.

"Last I heard Maggie was going in to talk to Gregory." Daryl explained as they looked towards the gates, which were being opened, 3 people walking in.

Someone headed over to the main house, soon followed by the rest of the group and Gregory coming out.

"What's happening?" Theo asked quietly as they headed over.

"Was the drop light?!" One man yelled, grabbing Gregory by the shirt.

"No..." Gregory replied, panic spreading across his face.

"I'm sorry, this is the only way to get my brother back" The tall man yelled before stabbing Gregory.

Theo and Daryl responded by running over.

Rick had taken down one of the men, fighting him off as Abraham took on another.

"Leave it" Rick yelled to Glenn who tried to help, but Rick ended the man's life by stabbing him in the throat, blood drenching Rick.

The other man was knocked out by Daryl who helped Abraham.

Rick stood up and was covered in blood, everyone was looking at him.

"What?" He asked as the woman, the third of the group sent a punch into the side of Rick's jaw.

Theo responded by pushing her on the floor, pointing her gun and her

"You wanna join your man?" Theo threatened, eyes not leaving her collapsed body.

But the woman gave in and cried.

Theo realised she was no harm and put her gun away.

"The fuck?" She looked around, walking towards Jesus.

"You need to talk now" Theo told him as they headed back to the house, where Gregory was stitched up and laid to rest.

"We've heard the name Negan before, tried to kill some of us a while back" Rick began as the group gathered in the main study in the house.

"Who is he?" Theo finished for her father

"He is the leader of the group that calls themselves the saviours" Jesus began "They came here not long after the walls were put up, they demanded half of our stuff, and then killed one of us, he was 16" Jesus looked at his feet. "Said we need to learn straight of the bat, and now every 2 weeks, maybe, they come here for supplies" Jesus explained

"Wait, so these men come here, kill one of you and then you give them your stuff?" Daryl asked, shaking his head.

Theo's mind began to run.

"There's something we might be able to do about it" Theo began, the group's attention now on her. "We take out Negan and these saviours, we start corresponding with one another, help each other, supplies and medicine and we can give you ammo" Theo suggested, looking around the room for their support.

Rick slowly nodded, some others too.

"These people have no remorse, they aren't someone that will go out easy" Jesus worried

"We've dealt with people like this before" Rick explained, agreeing with the plan.

"And not to mention, we might be a lot worse than these people" Theo thought, off in her own world, her husband watching her carefully.

"Okay, I'll talk to Gregory '' Jesus walked away heading to go to talk to his leader.

"Are we all okay with this?" Rick asked

"We need food, this is the only way" Theo spoke honestly taking a seat.
