August 1989 (Two Months before Georgie's disappearance)

Loretta Ann Sympox and George Denbrough were running for their young lives down Neibolt Street. They both passed several homeowners who were checking their mailbox or watering their grass. But none paid them any attention. Silly children, they would think in their heads, not understanding their need to run down the street like they were being chased by a demon.

"Loretta Ann- Sweets! You get your ass back here!"

"G-Ge-Georgie! I-I'm gonna k-kill you!"

"Annie, come on my mom is gonna kill me!"

The cackling young girl and shrieking little boy could hear panting and three pairs of footsteps pounding on the concrete behind them. They were running from three of their best friends because they pulled a prank on them. It was provoked! Lorie was rudely woken up from her sleep last week by her friend. He ran in her room, leaned in close to her ear to scream at the top of his lungs before shoving her off of the bed. She was not amused by her new alarm clock.

In retaliation, Lorie may or may not have put vibrant green food dye in Eddie Kaspbrak's hand sanitizer and put wet black paint around the rim of Richie Tozier's glasses. Eddie was not the main target, but unfortunately for the small boy who just so happened to be with Richie that day, she had to prank him as well. It was only fair. So now Lorie had her best friend who had hulk hands and her best friend who looked like a raccoon trying to chase after her.

Now Georgie wasn't running from Hulk hands and Racoon eyes. No, he was running from his big brother, Bill Denbrough. The light brunette boy knew his big brother like liked the girl he was running with, so when their parents told Bill a few days ago he was to watch Georgie for a bit while they went to run errands today, Georgie saw the perfect opportunity.

The little boy decided to be a little shit and fake 'break' his art supplies. Georgie got Lorie in on it, and asked her to help him paint some regular pencils to look like Bill's nice art supplies. The little kid thought Lorie was pretty, and he liked to hear her laugh. So, he thought it would be hilarious to see Bill make a fool of himself in front of the pretty girl. Bill, however, was NOT amused. The raven-haired boy wanted to punch Georgie for destroying his precious art supplies, so he was trying to chase after them too.

The key word there though was trying. The giggling sweetheart and blonde boy were a lot faster than them. They were halfway down the street by the time the three teenage males got past 2 houses. Lorie was typically the fastest on foot out of them all, and because of Georgie's smaller stature and hyper personality, he was a lot faster than his big brother and his friends. Of course, they all knew that, but never stopped the others from trying!

"You gotta hand it to us though guys! It was a MARVELOUS prank, and it wasn't permanently damaging!" Lorie yelled Georgie's hysterical chortling almost ringing in the blonde girl's ears.

"M-Maybe not f-for t-t-th-them, b-but what a-about m-my broken art s-supplies?! P-Pretty sure t-that's p-permanent!", Bill yelled with annoyance.

"Oops! Sorry Princey! I forgot about that!" She calls with a quick glance on her shoulder to see how close they were to her and her partner in crime.

That was a big mistake.

Lorie's eyes went comically wide when she realized how fast Richie and Bill were coming up on her and Georgie and started to panic a little. Richie was gaining on her and smirked, pushing himself harder and faster. Bill could see Richie closing in, but knew he could only grab one of them, so he pushed faster too.
