Stan, Eddie, Richie, and Bill each had one of the others help them out of the house. Mike carried a crying Eddie and Laycey supported Richie. Beverly helped a shaking in shock Stan, and Ben had to halfway carry Bill out of the house. All four boys are absolutely shattered. It was like losing Lorie all over again.

They all get on their bikes except for Eddie, who rides in Mike's basket and Laycey hops on and uses Eddie's, so it doesn't get left at the well house. They make it on to Eddie's street and see Mrs. Kaspbrak is sitting on her front porch waiting. When she sees the state that her son is in, she flushes with red hot anger.

"Eddie-bear?!", she wails out dramatically. She thunders inside to grab her purse and keys from the side table right inside before thundering back outside to grab the nape of her son's neck.

"You all are supposed to be his friends! This is your fault. You have gotten more careless and rebellious since the Sympox girl went missing. Your parents will be hearing of this. And Eddie is done with you lot. Do you understand? Done!" she grounds out. Bill starts to stutter out the vague version of what happened.

"B-But he-we were attacked Mrs. K- ", he tried desperately.

"No! I will not hear your excuses. None of you are allowed to step foot on my property again. I want no trace of you when we come back. Let's go Eddie-kins." Sonia Kaspbrak snootily snarks before all but shoving the teen with the broken arm in the passenger seat of her car. She fumbles with her keys and they fall out of her shaking hands. Beverly sees this and bends down to help her.

"Let me help y- ", Beverly is cut off by Mrs. Kaspbrak slapping her hand away.

"Don't!", she sneers, "I've heard of you Miss Marsh, and I don't want a slutty girl like you touching my son." Laycey immediately gets angry at the older woman's words. All the boys see her flush red and instantly start to back away, they learned last time that it's best not be in her line of fire. Laycey shoves herself in Sonia's line of sight.

"I'm sorry but who the fuck does this fat-ass bitch think she's talking to?" She looks to Mike in disbelief before turning back to her and continues her rant.

"First off, she's fucking fifteen. No fifteen-year-old sleeps with older men like the rumors say willingly you fucking horrible piece of shit." Laycey ticks off on her fingers sarcastically.

"Secondly, I would hope that as a fellow woman you would feel the need to lift up the younger female population considering that this world is completely overruled by men who think with their heads, and I'm not talking about the ones on their shoulders! I mean the ones in their pants! But I guess you are just too obsessed with the rumors of Derry to fucking care. And thirdly! Those rumors that are spread all through Derry, that's all they are. They. Are. Rumors! Rumors that are spread by old saggy bitches like you who have nothing else to do in their life but fantasize about things they will never got to do and never will in the future either! I mean I don't blame you, because who would ever want to even be around some sweaty sack of shit like you?" Laycey finishes with a hard glare paired with a shit-eating smirk.

Sonia stands there stunned, she has no words. No one has ever spoken to her like that. The boys all watch in shock and anticipation as the two craziest, short tempered women in Derry face off. Even Eddie looks shocked and nervous from the car having heard their exchange. He hoped the pain in his arm would make him faint because he is so not gonna enjoy that car ride, whatever the result. Laycey just signed the metaphorical restraining order between him and his friends and he would never hear the end of this.
