Sixteen

TRIGGER WARNING for suicide so if thats going to trigger you please don't read this and if its too dark or something tell me and i will delete it.
I really don't want to trigger anyone that was never my intention so if its triggering please tell me so i can delete it.

I put down my phone on the counter and sit down on the floor.
What if they're right.
What if he doesn't like me, he just pity's me.

Of course he doesn't like me i mean who could possibly like me.
And i know that it may sound stupid but in that moment those words made the biggest difference and i make a decision.

With tears rushing down my cheeks I run up to my room and starts going trough my closet ,and there on the closet floor they were lying.

My sleeping pills that my doctor gave me.

I never used them but for some reason i still brought them with me when i moved here.
Maybe i tought that once the nightmares stopped i might start using them, but i never did and then i just forgot about them.

I quickly,without hesitation open the cap of the orange pill bottle and put them all in my hand.
Its now or never.

I grab the water bottle thats standing by my bed and I swallow them all.
Just like that i do something so awful without even thinking.
It all goes by so fast i don't even have time to think about what im doing.
I just do it.

I hurry down to the kitchen and grab my phone.

New text to "Harry"

"I love you"

New text to "Louis💞"

"You mean everything to me"

I feel my body getting weak and im so tired.
I grab onto the counter to not fall when my legs give in and I accidentally spill out the milk everywhere.
But i can't fight it anymore and the last thing I hear is someone from far away shouting my name and then i give in to the tiredness.

*Third person point of view*

Harry's phone vibrates and all though he's driving he still picks it up and when he sees the text he realizes that something is wrong.
He steps on the gas and the car goes even faster than before.

- Slow down Harry you're going too fast Liam says but Harry just ignores him.

He needs to get home right now.

- You're going to kill us all Zayn says.
- I don't care we need to get home Harry says and five minutes later he parks the car outside the big mansion and runs inside with four worried boys behind him.

- Emeralda Harry shouts when he opens the front door and his shout leaves an echo, but no one shouts back.
- Look trough the house Harry says before he runs up to her room.

All the boys starts searching for the house with no idea what to expect, and even if they knew what to expect there is no way that they could imagine what they soon would see.

Soon they hear a scream fill the house.
Its a scream filled with both terror and sadness.

They run to the kitchen to see Niall holding a lifeless body.
The body that belonged to the little girl they all knew.

Harry runs up to the body and desperately tries to find a pulse.
But there isn't one to find.

- Call 911 he shouts and with shaking hands Zayn picks up his phone and dials the numbers.

No one really knows what to do so they are all kinda just shouting at each other and trying to wake up the little girl.

- Come on Emeralda please wake up Harry shouts while his tears fall down on the body he's holding.

He holds his little sister while they wait for the ambulance and less than five minutes later they hear the ambulance come and they take away his baby sister.

- Its going to be okay she's going to make it Zayn says when they sit in the waiting room with hearts beating so fast that it feels like they are going to explode at any second now.

- You don't know that Harry says.
- You can't blame yourself Liam says.
- I hade one job, to protect her from the world and I couldn't even do that Harry almost shouts.

Louis who hade been awfully quiet this whole time finally looks up and opens his mouth.

- Its my fault I let her kiss me in a public place knowing very well that people would take pictures he says.
- Its not your fault, its no one's fault sometimes life is just absolute awful and unfair Niall says and Harry is just about to say something when a doctor comes walking towards them and everyone stands up at the same time.

- Is she okay Harry says and without even noticing it, he holds his breath while waiting for the answer.

- We hade to pump her stomach but we got her pulse back so she's stable but she's still unconscious and we don't know when she's going to wake up he says.
- Oh god Harry whispers.
- Can we see her Louis asks.
- Yeah you can sit with her,we don't know if she will be able to hear you but you can still talk to her.

The four worried boys follow the doctor in to a small hospital room and see the little girl lying in a hospital bed with a machine breathing for her.

- She looks so small Harry whispers while he sits down on the side of the bed and holds her hand.
- She's going to wake up soon Louis says while he desperately tries to understand how everything could change so fast.
Just last night she was talking about how she was doing better and today she died.

She was actually dead for a few minutes.
