17 - Poly Bill and Ted headcannons - Crushing and asking you out

- They had met you at a post exam party thrown by one of the popular girls. Bill and Ted had shown up becuase the flyers posted all over the school hadnt specified invites, just a free for all to celebrate. Ted was clumsy as they threaded their way through party goers but Bill had been the one who accidentally knocked your drink over your shirt. "Sorry babe, I did not see you there." Bill notices that the drink has stained your shirt and it was practically plastered to your chest and stomach, and he feels guilty about it because that was uncool of him. Bill tries not to stare and instead asks, " Would you like to borrow my most bodacious and most importantly dry shirt?" You had accepted quickly, thanking your lucky stars the cute boy had offered and you wouldn't have to deal with creeps staring at your wet shirt all night. Before you went off, you may have snuck a quick glance and damm were you entranced by the toned abs he had. A quick thank you and you and they watched you head to the bathroom.

- Bill doesn't mind going shirtless for you but even Ted couldn't keep his eyes off of you when you came out of the bathroom with Bill's Wyld Stallyns tshirt on. "Woah, I can't help but notice your shirt looks most excellent on the babe," He would whisper in Bill's ear and the little cherub would be a little stunned to say the least. Bill tries not to stare as he steals glances of you throughout the party.

- After the incident, you decided to track down Bill to return his shirt. It was only fair, you had noticed the small details like a hand drawn horse and the letters on the back, feeling like it was only right to return it as it must have been special to him. It was either that or you just wanted to see him again, he was rather cute. When you eventually find the place, the two are a little shocked to see you there. Likewise for yourself, a band? That was pretty sweet! You couldn't stop asking questions afterwards either.

- Your interest in music is something that they think is totally awesome. Quickly after returning the shirt, you began hanging with them more often but not like a groupie. Bill and Ted realized quick that they shared the same music class with you among a few others and it quickly means that you three stick together like glue whenever your friends aren't pulling you away. After school becomes a band practice with you encouraging them to play better and giving pointers, one time you had watched a small video and taught yourself just to show them a special piece and they were amazed. If you aren't at band practice then you're often invited round for dinner mainly at Bill's place since Ted's dad is a stick in the mud.

- It all comes to a header one day on Valentines when they were about to sneak you a joint card, only to notice you had one stuffed in your locker. It seemed you had another suitor but it doesn't go well so the both after going back and forward the whole day decide to just give you the one they got for you anyways. Ted is whispering to Bill all throughout the day, "But what if it doesn't go down well dude?" and Bill despite also rather nervous, "Then we still have a rather amazing dudette for an amigo Ted."

- They are nervous as all hell but try not to appear so. They heard that women-babes liked confident guys so that's how they appeared, albeit not fooling you. Bill practically fell in a daze when You chewed your lip after reading the awfully sweet poem the wrote you, composed of course from different song lyrics from respectful artists. Ted would nervously mention, "Uh You don't have to like us back ba-Y/N, we just wan-" Bill would get his attention, whispering, "Shut up Ted."

- Long story short and a whole load of awkwardness, you had accepted. The  dynamic was quickly worked out over a week. It turns out nothing really had to change. Instead of walking to class you were walking to class with your boyfriends. They liked holding your hands down the corridor and it was innocent enough of an act from the two that no one batted an eyelid aside from the occasional jock who teased them only for you to shut them down. "Oh shut it Taylor, you're mum is waiting for you outside." Instead of hanging out after school, it was a rather pleasant yet carefree date and they happened almost everyday with the weekends being chill days. Going to parties together whenever the odd one would pop up and having a good night. They were very respectful of you and when you slept the night over at theirs they made you feel comfortable but it was up to you to tell them how comfortable you were with things (cuddling, wearing their shirts, makeouts, light petting if it happens and what goes down,) they're very patient and respectful but as soon as you kiss one or the other, they get right into it.
