11 - Stand By Me - Date Ideas

Chris

• Chris would want to impress you still, knowing that the town doesn't like his last name. Then again, there isn't much else to do in Castle Rock and he can't exactly drive. Chris preferred to take you out for ice cream and take you to the clubhouse (minus the guys) or maybe make a small joint picnic to take someplace nice and where you both won't be bothered by people (cobras) Chris likes surprising you like that, just turning up with a bag of food and seeing the smile light your face up. It's just so easy for him to do that it becomes a weekly thing, in between when he wants to see you, Chris would pluck some flowers to make a small but cute makeshift bouquet and give it to you when he sneaks in. Long nights of playful talking about anything really, wither it's on the phone or with him physically there always puts a smile on your face but it also makes him happy that he can talk freely with you. Chris also takes delight in feeding you your favourites and you feeding him, if there is desert you can best believe he is gonna taste yours via kiss. Bonus points if the picnic spot has a good view of the sunset.

Teddy

• Teddy's idea of a fun date are overnight camping, water fights and swimming (although a little inappropriate as it's the first date and he doesn't want to throw you off) Game nights usually end with some light hearted but mock dancing (a really catchy song came on the radio) because he can't keep his hands off of you. Although it's a mock one where you are both basically being jostled about, Teddy had thrown in a dip and smooched you playfully. Of course the first one isn't like that at all, Teddy would ask if you wanted to play some board games with him with sweeties used as a currency or he might save up and take you to lunch. You are always going to get complimented when you're with him, regardless of what you are doing or the effort you put into getting ready. Teddy is very practical and energetic and it expands when he asks you to do things with him. Walks are a thing when it's nice outside and Teddy is very affectionate further in. If you smoke (or just occasionally like he does) then hot damn expect smoking based compli-nicknames such as "Smoking," or "Hot Stuff," and Teddy wouldn't mind sharing his pack with you. Although he might ask for a kiss first.

Gordie

• Gordie would take you for a long scenic walk around Castle Rock, ignoring the spots where the cobras hang at. Gordie was already nervous about the date and he wouldn't want the cobras to make it worse. If he's daring, he might make a move to hold your hand gently and swing it back and forward. There would be a quick stop in for milkshakes where it's a shared large one (probably your favourite or a plain flavour you both like) with two straws but the two straws doesn't stop him from telling you that you have a cream-stache before he leans in and pecks "the cream" off of you. Dates with him are usually him rattling off adult jokes and just learning more about each other. Gordie knows there isn't much else to do in Castle Rock so he might end up asking you every son often if you want to go over to his and watch your favourite shows together and it would become a tradition.

Vern

• Sharing a desert at a local diner just without the guys. His friends had heard from other girls that you had a sweet tooth much to his excitement. Vern is the type to get a bit sheepish and stare because he thinks you're very pretty. Vern is also just really happy that you accepted a date with him. Feeding each other is a thing that happens after the third or fourth date. Banana split and the chocolate fudge sundae are the two favourites and they get alternated each time. Vern always offers you one of his cherry pez's when he walks you to your door and he always leaves looking like a tomato because you either kiss him on the cheek or lips. Sometimes he will invite you to stay at his or if you ask if he wants to sleep at yours (only after he feels more confident with you) Aside from either avoiding Billy or hearing his taunts about a pretty girlfriend, the sleepover could be making treats with him in the kitchen, watching TV, playing board games or even truth or dare if Vern isn't feeling too bashful at what could be asked or dared.

Ace - (Sorry shouldn't laughing but imagining him thinking of cute date ideas with vanessa carlton - a thousand miles)

• Ace, although he had a mean streak to most people, he is actually just a little better with you. Although his initial ideas are a little low effort ala make out point up the road or just plain old sex at the drive in. Ace has enough experience to know what most girls like and believe it or not, does care for you more than he may show it. Ace also makes sure to tell you how good you look. Depending on how much money he has, he might take you to Irby's Diner for lunch or dinner most likely with some alcoholic drinks (but also to show you off) or if not then he might take you out to a drive in movie (sex may or may not happen) There is a good chance that Ace might get a little fiery if anyone bothers you when he takes you out so take that in mind. Ace would not hesitate to deck anyone that he seems even the slightest bit disrespectful towards you or him and despite his efforts not to do that infront of you he will insist it was the other guy's fault as he leads you outside. There's a good mix but sometimes he will just show up out of the blue and ask (convince) you to come for the day with him rather than call (Ace can be a bit of an ass sometimes but it's more or less of a spontaneous date)

Eyeball - (Same with Ace lol)

• Eyeball has as car and as means to take you someplace nice. Embarrassingly before you, he didn't show too much effort in dates until he met you and found out before "the chase" that you were picky (not true, some ass that couldn't get a date had spread that rumour about you.) Eyeball's part time odd hour job had given him a fair amount of cash, not that he would ever tell Ace or the gang. It didn't matter if it was true or not, he was sort of on best behaviour but still slid his arm around your shoulder at the diner he invited you to. It was some place just out of town and he had taken you for dinner. Eyeball tried to reign in the crude language but slipped up occasionally only to see you laugh at that. Soon after he drove you back and you kissed him before telling him the rumour was false but you thought he was cute. After that knowledge the effort doesn't lessen but it still meant he would invite you out more often rather than once a week. Watching cars race at the track if that was your thing, taking you to a drive in movie, dessert or even a sleepover (if you offer because he is not going to subject you to his father.) Might even take you out for a drink but not so often because he's more often to get into fights if he thinks anyone even breathed your way.
