Aizawa refused to drink.

"What do you think would make this school better?" Nezu asked. Taking that kind of advice from someone who looked like a high schooler?

"Let General Education go on a lot of field trips."

"That costs money."

"Yeah, money you have."

"Fair. Elaborate."

"I think for one, visit the police academy as shadows. They have such programs in place. Actually, the hero course should do it as well. There are often situations where heroes and police don't work well together, which causes a lot of problems and discord between them. But most importantly, I think general education should visit hero agencies. Based on this UA website description, General Education prepares students to work at hero agencies or become sidekicks, even first responders. I think there is a huge possibility here to allow students to find their niche and also learn valuable skills, such as first aid and mission coordination. What would be really awesome is if you could do training where general education students, hero department students and the support department students are all required to work together, maybe as a mid year exam. Support students are in charge of mission coordination, support students prepare gadgets for various scenarios. And students should pick their teams, where no person can be from the same class. I believe an activity like that would teach cooperation and bring the student body closer."

"We do like to foster some healthy competition," Nezu said."

"But you can't bolster the hero course year after year and ignore the other courses."

Aizawa frowned, opening his mouth to protest, but Nezu sighed, leaning back.

"Yes, but the board of directors is more concerned with the school's reputation."

Aizawa has no idea about that.

"You're also not fighting back."

"That is true."

"Fight back at some point. Anyways. I also think the hero course should really have an ethics or morals class. To debate their opinions on certain subjects, and discuss specific situations. Like examples where you can't save everyone, when you can't save anyone, and when the quote unquote villains have a goddamn point. I think it would be highly beneficial to the students."

"Why don't you teach that class?"

"Fuck no. I'm not even qualified to teach. And boss said having this card means I can't be a teacher, Doctor, civil engineer, or government official of any sort."

Aizawa's eyes went wide. That black card was notorious. The test to acquire one is harder to get than a hero license by far, and almost no one has it. Cleared to use their quirks to their discretion, as long as they aren't killing anyone or attacking anyone. It has been nicknamed the Vigilante Card, because that's essentially what it allows the person holding it to do.

"A shame. If only Yamamoto hadn't gotten to you first," Nezu said. Akiyo chuckled.

"You wouldn't have gotten to me. I've got no faith in this system."

"Ah, your hatred for heroes."

Akiyo held her finger up.

"Not hatred. I just think they should do their job right."

"Yet I hear you frequently interact with high ranking heroes such as Endeavor, Best Jeanist, and Hawks."

"I have faith in people. I won't blindly trust someone who simply feeds off of the incentivized prevention of death."
