"I finally get to have a little fun around here thanks to me good friend Greeny!"
"Get down here!" Die demanded, "If I have to come get you it won't be fun."
"The chase is the fun, Mors. Live a little!" She laughed.
"Anti, release her!" Dark demanded.
(Y/n) let out a laugh yet again a mix of her own and Anti's, "Make me, make us."
"What do we do?" Sean questioned, "It's like she's not'er self."
"Neither is Contra." Die breathed, "He's too power-hungry and she's yearning as well. They won't be themselves until they're separated, or worse."
"What's worse?"
"I'll explain later." Die rolled his neck around, "I wanted to relax tonight."
"Boo-hoo." Dark rolled his eyes, "Let's make this quick."
"They look mad, ain't Anti?" She laughed to herself, "Should we ditch?"
"Best to move fast. We don't know it all yet."
"Lead the way!"
Just as Die was climbing the tree she jumped down off the branch and began to run.
Dark began on her heels rushing behind at high speed. She had the speed of a demon and the memory of the woods on her side giving her a lead. Dark, although keeping up, was on his toes darting around obstacles.
"Let's kick it into 4 wheel drive Lass."
(Y/n) used the vine as a strop and put it over her shoulder then switched to running on all fours. It felt easier than she thought it would and aided her agility through the woods. She kicked off trees and made sharp turns.
"We're not losing him, (Y/n)."
"There's a sticker bush up ahead but it's pretty big and pretty long."
"Tight? Narrow? Sharp?"
"You bet."
"Jump it."
(Y/n) turned quickly. Just as she did Dark gripped her staff but lost it almost instantly. It was a close call, too close.
Up ahead she could see a sticker bush then counted down in her head for the perfect time to jump.
Dark was amazed at how high she was able to move, so much so he didn't realize the large vines of needles ahead of him. His entire body became entrapped in the webbing until it stopped him completely.
The last thing he heard was (Y/n) snickering and running off.

"If her mother walks in we are all good as dead." Die leaned against the kitchen counter.
"Her mother couldn't kill a housefly if she wanted to." Dark sat on a chair while Sean helped him pull out all the spikes that were sticking out of his body.
He growled every so often from the deep ones.
"So can ye tell me now why it's so bad fer them to stay together? I mean besides the fact Anti is a fucking psycho."
"If not properly trained they can become stuck." Die explained.
"Permanently?"
"Possibly, which is why we need to find her. When this type of possession occurs it is not just one person running the body at a time. As you can plainly see I am running Felix's body in full as Dark is in control of Mark's body. As a protector who is possessed your minds begin to work together thoughts can mend into one if you're not careful."
