"Hol' on Keef. Run that shit back real quick" Roddy told Keefa in the studio. He hadn't recorded any song since he dropped 'Time' last year and he wanted to release something just for his fans to hold onto till he actually dropped his album.
"Ight" Keefa nodded and played the track back.

"How that sound?" He asked the gang and they all murmured words of approval. All except Winter, who seemed to be seriously texting someone.
"Aye who you texting?" Bird asked, peeking over her shoulder to see.
"Zee. She just told me sum'" she answered.
"What?"
"Baby bird's back in town" she informed them and the atmosphere shifted. Everybody grew visibly tense, waiting for Roddy's reaction.
She was a very sore subject for him.
Nobody knew what happened between them. All they knew was that he had gone to New York to see her and came back all angry and shit, refusing to say a word of what happened. He stayed cooped up in his room for weeks, refusing to eat or talk to anybody. He didn't make human contact for a while. They finally succeeded in forcing him out of his room but he still refused to tell them what happened and they all just eventually left it at that.
And that was two years ago.
"What y'all looking at me for?" He asked.
"I mean we was kinda waiting for you to say sum'" Donbo spoke up.
"Why?"
"She's your ex and we know you still feel sum' for her" Bree said.
"No I don't" he denied and they all groaned.
"Again with the lies, Rodrick" Kris piped up. "When will they end?"
"I'm serious. I'm over it. It's been a long time"
They all knew he was lying. Someone who was over somebody else wouldn't create a fake insta account with for the sole purpose of checking out their ex's page.
"Sure......" Winter dragged it.
"I am. On God"
Now they were definitely 100% sure he was lying cause Roddy never said On God.
