After the long week ended, most Slytherins decided to go on the schools Hogsmeade trip to finally relax. Blow off that pent up frustration they all inevitably had. What better way to do that than by going to the Three Broomsticks?

When Draco asked if she wanted to go with him, Alana immediately threw on a oversized sweatshirt over her pleated skirt and uniform top and met him outside the Great Hall.

When they arrived at the tavern, Alana's eyes fell on Blaise and a new Ravenclaw girl. Might've been an old one though, she didn't pay much attention to his 'friendships'.

Oddly, Alana felt a strike of jealousy when she saw them sharing a booth. The guy who had been so nice to her, now had his tongue down some girls throat.

'Why does this bother me so much?' She thought.

Alana couldn't figure out why she had grown a liking to one of her best friends.

Shaking it off, Alana had pulled Draco into a booth and persuaded him to grab them both glasses of butterbeer. While she waited, Alana pulled out her wand and twirled it between her fingers. She found herself thinking about the incident between Blaise and her in the library, not realizing her face was twisting into a loathsome position. She couldn't help but wonder what would've happened if that girl didn't interrupt them.

"Hey Lana." A familiar voice broke her train of thoughts, but she didn't move her eyes from her wand still twirling in her hands.

"Since when am I Lana to you-" She stopped suddenly, her change in focus resulted in her wand falling onto the table.

She wasn't talking to Draco.

She was talking to Fred.

Leaning in, she knew she was going to regret speaking to him.

"Make it quick, Draco is about to be back. He won't be as nice as Blaise was."

Fred swiftly sat down in the chair across from Alana, looking around trying to find Malfoy in the pub.

"You know I have feelings for you." Fred blurted out.

It took everything in Alana not to wrap her arms around him and forgive him for everything.

"I don't believe you." Was all she could bring herself to say, neither admitting or denying if she had feelings for him.

"I let you down and it's breaking my heart." His voice breaking when he spoke.

"Let me down? You call what you did-"

Fred hit his fist against the table. "You think I'm proud of what I said?"

Alana, unable to answer, just gulped.

"You think I like this new reputation people have given me? This- this new person they made me out to be?" Fred was fuming. He felt eyes turn towards them but he didn't care.

Pausing his rant, Fred grabbed Alana's hand the same way he did that night in the astronomy tower. "Please. Forgive me. I can't lose you."

Alana was tempted to pull her hand away, but left it in his embrace. She scoffed, looking into his eyes, she bit her lip and nodded.

"Fine." She said as she released her lip from in between her teeth. Squeezing his hand bringing him closer she whispered, "Don't make me regret this."

She pushed Fred out of her grip, forcing him to hit the back of his chair quite hard.

"This is where you leave." Alana grinned, watching Draco return with their drinks.

Even though Fred was happy Alana didn't completely hate him, he got up with a gloomy look. Alana could only describe it as 'a bad excuse of puppy dog eyes'.

The rest of the night was filled with laughter and jokes between the two cousins. Alana pestering Draco about skipping class earlier in the week with Pansy, and Draco responding by asking about her and Fred. Alana just grimaced at him, he knew talking about Fred hit a nerve with her.

"Fuck." Draco exclaimed as he glanced at his watch.

"What's wrong?" Alana questioned as she watched Draco throw his coat over his shoulders.

"I'm late for a detention." He said shamelessly. "I guess Flitwick doesn't enjoy it when you use him as a stool."

"Draco!" Alana was going to scold him, but he was already out the door before she could say anything else.

Alana turned back to the table, she stared at her empty drink and decided that she might as well head back to the castle as well.

When she stepped out of the tavern, Alana looked for Draco but she figured that he had already made his way to the castle. Alana groaded, wondering why she decided to wear a short skirt during the winter. Sucking up the pain of the cold, snowy wind hitting her bare legs, she slowly started to make her way back up to the castle.

"Quite rude for Fred to leave you out in the cold like this." Blaise had followed her out and was now putting his jacket around her arms. "But i guess he has a thing for disappointing girls. Something i've never experienced. He added with a wink.

Laughing at his ridiculous joke, Alana couldn't help but point out the obvious. "You can't say anything about leaving girls for the cold."

Blaise shot her a confused look but then realized what she was mentioning. "Oh, that Ravenclaw slut started snogging a pathetic Hufflepuff boy when I got up to get us butterbeer, I couldn't care less if she slept out here in the cold."

"Yikes." Alana responded.

As the two made it to the stoned wall entrance to their common room, Blaise whispered the password "Pure-blood," the two entered and fell onto the green velvet loveseat.

"Looks like we are the last back." Blaise said, motioning to the empty common room.

"Sure looks that way." Alana laughed as she slipped off her black platform boots.

"You would look cuter if you wore less black." Blaise objected as Alana threw her legs over his.

Alana looked down at her outfit. Black pleated skirt, black sweater, and black fishnets. Her white skin looked like snow compared to her dark outfit.

"Crazy! I was just thinking about how cute you would be if you stopped breathing air." She spat back, leaning against the armrest of the small couch.

Blaise cocked his head towards Alana. "I like feisty Alana, she's cute."

Rolling her eyes Alana softly kicked Blaise before putting her leg back over his.

For a couple minutes there was silence, which was then broken by Blaise asking Alana to skip breakfast with him.

"You're crazy if you think i'm missing out on waffles tomorrow to go to the boathouse with you. It reeks of dead fish!" Alana pointed out.

"Ugh. If I get you a waffle will you come with me?" Blaise put his hands together in a prayer motion.

"Fine, but don't forget the syrup." Alana demanded.

"I won't! Blaise promised, now taking off his dark dress shoes.

The two bickered for a while but ended up falling asleep on each other in front of the green fire in the common room.

Late in the night Draco finished his detention and made his way back to the dorms. As he entered, he stopped cold. His eyes fell on his bestfriends sleeping on eachother. He wouldn't have cared if it was anyone else, but seeing Alana on top of Blaise made his blood boil. He knew what Blaise was capable of, and he wanted Alana nowhere near him.
