Miguel POV

I dressed in my sportswear and ready for some workout today. I went to knock on Caramel's door. I noticed that it had been a long time she didn't join me for a workout.

"Caramel, time to wake up," I called her but as expected I was greeted with silence. She probably still on her bed. I slowly twisted the knob and peeked inside, checking if my assumption is accurate.

I smiled at the adorable sight of her in the room. She slept peacefully on the bed with her long brown hair covering part of her face. Her face was facing my side, and she clutched onto the pillow tightly. I slowly opened the door and walked closer to approach her.

I mesmerized her adorable sleeping face. I slowly sat beside her not to wake her up and the foam dipped due to the weight. I removed the loose strands of hair that covering her face. I ran my fingers and caressed her cheek with my thumb. Her face slightly scrunched as she felt the movement on her face. She brushed her face with her arm probably thinking that it was her hair.

I was surprised when she suddenly caught my hand. I instantly glanced at her but noticed that her eyes were still closed. She took my hand and placed it under her head. It forced me to lower my body as she pulled me to her. I chuckled with her gesture, having a thought that she won't definitely do that if she realizes it was my hand.

"Hey, Caramel," I whispered near her earlobe. I supported my body with my elbow. She hummed.

"Caramel, I didn't know you like my hand that much."

"Hmm." She surprised me with a nod.

"You like it?" I teased, enjoying her being responsive in her sleep. Out of the blue, she giggles while still holding onto my arm. I suppressed my laughter.

"Are you going to hold me like this all the time?" I stared at her face. Her eyelid moving before she fluttered opens her eyes and squinted.

She rubbed her eyes with one hand to look at me clearly. Her lips partially parted as she caught me staring at her.

"Why are you here?" Her scratchy morning voice made me want to stay here longer.

"Because you won't let me go," I said, smirking at her while popped my head on my palm. She furrowed her brows, didn't aware of her action.

I moved my gaze to her hand on my arm and her eyes followed, only then she noticed that she lay on my palm.

"Oh gosh, sorry." She blushed in a deep shade of red. Out of embarrassment, she let go and sat on the bed immediately.

"You don't have to say sorry, I enjoyed it anyway," I said playfully. I adjusted my body and sat at the edge of the bed still looking at her.

"What do you want? It's still early." She chirped, looking at the clock on the nightstand beside her.

"Tsk. Tsk. Seems like someone forgets her morning routine," I placed my thumb and index finger on my chin examined her.

"I guess it's too early for breakfast." She retorted.

"What you need to do before breakfast?" I questioned. She scanned me up and down looking for a hint.

"No, I'm not going to go for a workout."

"That's part of your job, Caramel. Come, we will be late later. We will do something different today." I told her.

"Come on, it's still early. I should have time to pamper myself on the bed." She whined.

"You can pamper yourself in a better way. Let me show you." I offered.

"No, I refused."

"Who is the boss here?" I threatened. She rolled her eyes in return.
