Chapter 22: Emergency! (The Magic Enthusiast)

Saturdays are meant for rests, are they not? How I would wish to wake up late this day, no visitors, nowhere to go and et cetera et cetera. But instead of waking up late, I ended up being awoken up early.

I woke up in a bad mood. Why, you ask? Let me tell you what happened.

Flashback

*splash*

Agad na napabangon ako nang may walang hiyang nagbuhos sa akin ng malamig na tubig. Sinamaan ko ng tingin si Cali na nakapoker face habang hawak'hawak ang tabo.

"Wake up sleepy head. We're about to have a meetin--" my shout cut him off.

"WHAT THE HELL CALI?! PWEDE MO NAMAN AKONG GISINGIN NG HINDI BINUBUHUSAN NG TUBIG AH?!"

"Tch. We tried. Eudayme here was even sprinkling you with water by his hands. But you weren't waking up so I took the -- what do you call this again? Ah! -- tabo from him and splashed you with the water in it. And then there you go, you're now awake."

Napalingon kami ni Cali kay Eudayme na biglang tumawa. "What's so funny Eudayme?" I asked.

"Nice taglish Cali." then he again laughed.

"How in the world you two got in here? I locked the door last night." nakakunot noong tanong ko.

"Cali lockpicked your door." sabi ni Eudayme habang nakaturo pa kay Cali na walang emosyon ang mukha ngayon.

"Enough with the chitchats! Go and prepare yourself Felicine. We still got a meeting. An emergency." Cali coldly said at piningot ang tenga ni Eudayme papalabas ng kwarto ko.

Now, we three are here in Cali's unit. Mukhang napapadalas na ang pagpunta namin dito. Ito na ang nagsilbing meeting place namin, what I mean by meeting place ay kung saan nagmemeeting.

Katabi ko ngayon si Eudayme. Nanggigigil pa rin ako sa kanya dahil sa ginawa niyang pangloloko sa akin kahapon.

Matatalim na tingin ang ibinibigay ko sa kanya dahilan para lumayo siya sa akin ng kaunti. Pwede ko siya ngayong sabunutan but I chose not to, maayos kasi ang buhok niya ngayon at mukhang naglagay siya ng gel.

Ayoko kayang humawak ng gel because of their stickiness. Yuck! Mabango nga pero sticky naman. Call me maarte and whatever pero ayoko sa mga sticky substance.

I raise my hand, waiting to be acknowledged by the person who's repeatedly walking back and forth in front of us. Cali nodded at me.

"Why are we here exactly? Tsaka bakit parang problemado ka?"

He stopped and looked at me.

"I called you here for an emergency meeting." He said then continued walking back and forth.

"What emergency is that?" I asked.

What is this emergency about? Nakakuha na ba siya ng bagong lead para sa L organization? If yes, bakit hindi na lang siya nagpatawag ng meeting together with the Student Council? Wait! Don't tell me may sinu-suspect siya among the Council?
