Christmas Special: The Case of the Missing Gifts and Kids Finale

"Aha! We finally found you!"

He stood up slowly and turned his back at us. I was surprised to see the face of the person whom I'm suspecting from the very first start where the events occurred is here in the second floor, retrieving something.

He's supposed to be with the children outside, enjoying, making them smile and watching them enjoy the program that the two family created and yet, he's here retrieving something that can prove his deed.

People truly are fond of putting masks to formulate a hidden agenda. 

"Alright!" The locked door creaked open and two figures appeared behind it. The first one was a man who's showing us a misshapen paper clip while the other was a woman who's wearing a dress, leaning on the doorway with her crossed arms.

"Avie!" Chris called when he saw Aviela leaning. He smirked. "You're fine now?"

Napatingin naman si Aviela sa katabi niyang lalaki. "Guess what you said about the second floor is correct. We have now cornered the culprit behind all of these." She said, smirking at Cali who's pocketing the misshapen paper clip. She averted her eyes to Cali and looked at Chris. "You have done a great commanding down there, Chris."

Aviela stepped forward, standing beside Chris. Her lips were smirking while her eyes looked disappointed at the man standing in front, looking confused at why we are cornering him. 

Cali closed the door again and locked it before stepping forward, standing beside me. From left to right: Cali, me, Akhaya, Chris, and Aviela. Sayang, wala kasi si Eudayme dito. Kung sana nandito siya, magmumukhang cool kami. Imagine all 6 of us standing side by side, confronting the culprit. How cool is that?

Knock knock knock

We all turned our heads to the locked door. Someone knocked. Who could it be?

"I'll get it." Akhaya volunteered. Nakatuon lang ang aming tingin sa pinto, hinihintay kung sino ang kumatok. 

When Akhaya opened the door, a smiling figure of a man emerged. 

Speaking of the devil. Eudayme happily marched forward, and joined us in standing side by side. He squeezed his way between me and Akhaya. 

"What did I missed?" He asked us when he finally stood beside me. He's still wearing his smile. Tinuro naman ni Akhaya ang kanyang hintuturo sa harapan, kung saan nakatayo ang lalaking gulat. "Oh, I see. We are apprehending the culprit."

Tumikhim naman si Chris dahilan para tumingin kami sa kanya. Inayos niya ang kanyang tayo at tsaka tumingin sa harapan. Napatingin na rin kaming lahat sa harap. 

"Bakit kayo naandito?" asked the man who's standing in front. 

"Just came to arrest you." answered Cali. "Of what? Of the kidnap for ransom, putting everyone to sleep, Planting bombs and especially, throwing sleeping gas at us. I came here to do my revenge." 

"Anong pinagsasabi niyo?" the man confusedly asked. 

"Your original plan is this." Cali cleared his throat. "You stole the gifts together with the kids and you placed them in the basement where a bomb was planted. You mixed a sleeping pill onto every milk and distributed it to the children, as well as the staffs. They drank it and one by one, they lost consciousness. The ransom you demanded which is 25 million will be given to you. Once you got it already, you'll leave this place together with the money and wait for the whole orphanage to blow up to pieces together with the sleeping staffs and the orphans."

"How cruel!" I commented. 

"Indeed." 

"Original plan? What do you mean by that?" Asked the man.
