OLIVER
I flew down after the falling Percy. There was a big thing of water under him, and he hit it and went under. I flew straight into the water and turned into a small and sleek black fish. I swam around while looking for Percy, but found something else instead.
I saw a merman thing holding Percy in his arms. There were a bunch of water animals, merfolk, and naiads bowing around him. I couldn't see Blackjack, so I hoped he was ok.
"Percy?" I whispered. His eyes slowly opened as he looked at the water creatures and eventually got out of the merman's grip.
"Percy?!" I whispered louder. He looked at me and put his finger to his lips. I was about to swim further when I felt someone or something grab my tail. "Uh-oh."
I was picked up by a merman with a scaly green tail and orange hair. He looked like King Neptune from Spongebob, but without the beard and trident. He wore a gold helmet and armor and carried a gold sword.
"First you steal Poseidon's trident, then you harm a son of his?" the merman asked.
"What?" I said confused. I was slowly turning back into myself.
"How dare you do such evil to Poseidon? I knew Hade's descendants cannot be trusted!" the merman was yelling so hard, some blood vessels bulged. He reminded me of my 7th grade ELA teacher when I walked into the room.
"Ok, first of all, I don't like being man handled, so please let go of me. Second, I have no clue of what you're talking about. And third, I didn't harm Percy!" I yelled back at him. I was myself by now, and was surprised I was still breathing. I saw a big bubble around my head. Oh.
"Hand over the trident, or you'll be executed the slow and painful way," the merman growled. I looked at Percy who just stood to the side with his arms crossed. I sighed.
"Look fish man, I don't have the trident," I said slowly.
"My name is Trident," the thingy said.
"Alright Trident, if you let me go, I'll find the trident and bring it back here," I said hopefully. I used a little bit of charmspeak, so I hoped he wouldn't notice. He frowned a little and growled.
"Fine! But you have until the fall solstice to return it to the temple of Poseidon in Atlantis," Trident said.
"Wait.......... did you say Atlantis?" I asked. Trident nodded. "But, uh, didn't it sink and was never found?" I asked with disbelief.
"Yes. It's either you return the trident there or be executed now," Trident inquired.
"Fine. Fine. I'll go. Can you let me go now?"

Minutes later, Percy and I were swimming to a bay that wasn't much farther.
"So Barnacle Boy, have any idea where this temple would be?" I asked while swimming as a fish.
"No Pretty Boy, but I'm only helping you because I don't want to see you incinerated," Percy said without looking at me.
"Oh, so you think I'm pretty?" I asked while smirking.
"N-no. I was just saying........" Percy trailed off flustered. "And I'm not that way! I even have a girlfriend!"
"Ooh, that's a good cover!" I said while chuckling a little. Percy glared at me and I was sucked into a whirlpool. I thrashed around and finally broke out of it as a shark. I followed under Percy until I broke through the top just mere centimeters away from his face. I laughed and turned into a goldfish to avoid a wave.
"This isn't over!" Percy yelled as we reached a beach with warm white sand. Umbrellas and beach chairs littered the beach with beach goers all around.
"How would I stay covered while turning back?" I whispered to him.
"Turn into a dog or something underwater. I'll sell it," Percy whispered back. I nodded and turned into a black and yellow lab and doggy-paddled to the beach behind Percy. I shook my coat and splashed Percy, who didn't even seem fazed. A few people were staring at us, but then quickly ignored it and did whatever.
"C'mon, uh, Shadow?" Percy walked towards some sidewalk at the end that was bordered by road. There was a small building at the edge of a parking lot and we went into it. Thank gods dogs were allowed inside.
"How can I help you?" a girl around my age with golden brown hair and almond eyes asked. She was wearing a silk Hawaiian shirt with pretty white flowers on it. I sat and panted, suddenly feeling warm in her presence. She smelled of coconuts and every good-smelling flower in the world.
"We were just looking for shirts," Percy explained.
"You need a shirt for your dog?" the girl asked. "He's a cute dog." She came up to me and scratched under my chin. My eyes closed and my leg kicked a little.
"Uh, no. Just two people shirts. And some other clothes. I have a friend that needs some as well," Percy said. The girl stopped scratching me and went into the back. I looked around to make sure no one else was there an turned into myself.
"You're a cute dog," Percy said mocking the girl.
"I'm not afraid to turn into scarier Jackson," I said while glaring at him. He just took a small step back.
"I found this," the girl came back with a bunch of stuff. There were shirts that said NEW YORK, some shorts that were a verity of colors, some flip flops, and some sunglasses. She also had a few towels. "Where did your dog go?"
"Uh, my friend took him," Percy said uneasily. The girl squinted her beautiful eyes.
"Alright Persus Jackson. And Oliver Zhang. I'll ring these up or you," the girl said. My eyes met Percy's who were the size of dinner plates.
"H-how do you know us?" Percy asked.
"Well, lets just say I might've met one of you before, and the other just seemed worthy to find out. I'm Caly- I mean, Christina." I looked at Christina who kept staring at Percy, who stared back at her.
"N-nice to meet you," Percy finally said. Christina handed us the stuff and pointed to a small door.
"Changing rooms are over there," she said while going back into the back. "Good luck." I nodded as I went into a changing room. Strangely enough, the clothes were my size and fit perfectly. I had a pink NEW YORK shirt and black and pink shorts. My flip flops were black and I had some black shades. I walked out and saw Percy wearing blue and white.
"Lets go," Percy said. I nodded and headed to the door with him and Christina stopped us.
"Here, take this. It'll help, trust me," she said. I took the black drawstring bag she was holding and slipped it over my shoulders. We thanked her and walked out.
"She was surely interesting," I said.
"Yea," Percy faintly agreed.
