I swept the floorboards making positive to get all the dust off the polished hardwood.
I heard a stampede of heavy footsteps coming in my direction and I stopped the broom and looking. "Where's lunch dingbat?"
"Do I look like a damn encyclopedia to you motherfucker?" I retorted and pursed my lips.
"Why I outta." He stalked over to me cracking his knuckles and my grip on the broom tightened as I grimaced at the sight of his face.
Oh pretty boy you don't know what you're getting yourself into.
A devious smirk played on my lips and he pursued towards me as the other weres watched us.
He withdrew his large fist and I brought the broom up to it holding the stick up with both hands. I pressed against him my face inches from his although I had to look up. "You know pretty boy I've killed plenty of guys like you. Cocky and undeserving. I could add you to that long list if I wanted." I whispered loud enough for everyone in the room to hear.
I snatched the broom back and stepped to the side making his force go forward landing him an uncomfortable spot on the previously cleaned floor. I tossed the broom up in the air and snatched it back into my grip breaking the air. "I'd suggest you give me a bit more respect, next time." I said and walked up the steps leaving the broom leaning on the kitchen counter.
I took the pack house steps by two finally getting to the attic. I went through my large trunk and pulled out a pair of baggy under amour pants and a tie-dye tank top pulling on a pair of black converse.
I quickly changed and ran out of my room and to the training grounds. The dirt path leading through the center of the pack. I walked past other pack members, some gave me looks of disgust and others pitifilled smiles. And I returned the looks to each male and female.
"Cameron why are you late?" The third in command bellowed as the other men did their warm ups. I drew my attention from the men on there hands and knees and to my upper importance.
"Long story."
"Look Cameron you know I'm doing you a favor so the least you could do is be on time." He sighed deeply running his hands through his black hair.
"Dave, we both know that you may have done me one favor. But we both know I'm doing you a favor." I said walking away from my Omega. I lined up with the men and went through the drills with as much ease as the others as Omega Dave shouted at us like a football coach.
"Stop being a bunch of sissies and man up! Cameron may have a males name but that doesn't make her one! Look where your going!" The list went on. We all bent over in a huddle; sweat dripping off out bodies as the hot midday sun beamed on our backs. "We're not taking a breather go shift and meet me back out here." His tone was serious and focused and we followed his order.
I jogged behind a tree and stripped of my clothing folding them neatly. I stuffed them into the hollow tree trunk and shifted into my multicolored wolf. It's like someone threw different color paints on my fur and dried me unconsciously. I had a little brown here, a little white there, and to top it all off grey that made the colors dull.
My wolf was one of the largest ones to some of the guys surprise. In human sure they might be able to beat me with their height and weight. But in my wolf form I'm content. I could shred you to pieces and not have a care in the world.
'So nice to be out.' My wolf sighed and I nodded in agreement.
'I know it's been a week since the last time we've trained in our wolf forms. And with the stupid boundaries the Alpha and elders gave me as a precaution for everyone else's safety, I can't do anything.' I complained.
