Archer's POV:

I watched as Makayla's tiny frame retreated up the stairs. I looked back to my brothers. All three of them looked concerned, even Dylan. Despite how hard he try's to deny it I know that he still loves Makayla and would die for her.

"I need to talk to you about something" Ethan told me. The look in his eyes told me that it was important. "Ok, Meet me in my office downstairs in ten minutes" I told him calmly. He nodded his head and left to go do who knows what.

The downstairs office that I have is just for my legal work. On the third floor is where I take care of most of the Mafia related problems. That's why I told Makayla to stay off the floor. I don't want dangerous criminals that aren't her family around her.

Her safety is my number one priority. Even if I have to take a bullet for my sweet little sister I would.

Snapping out of my thoughts I went upstairs to my bedroom. I took a very quick shower before throwing on a pair of boxers and grey sweatpants. Believe it or not I own clothes other then suits.

I shook out my wet hair before heading back downstairs to talk with Ethan. I opened the doors of my office to find Ethan already sitting in one of the chairs.

Whatever he's about to tell me is got to be important. Ethan is the calmest out of all my brothers so seeing him so anxious worry's me.

I closed the doors behind me before taking my spot behind the desk. "What is it that you needed to tell me" I asked him.

He looked up from his hands before saying "It's Makayla I worried about her". Hearing the name of my sister all of my attention was now on my brother.

I raised an eyebrow signing for him to continue. "Well whenever there's a loud noise or anybody yells she flinched and looks around as if someone is going to hurt her.

For example, earlier tonight when Dylan was yelling, she was shacking and I gonna guess that it wasn't about the cold" he finished making his first point.

He's right, when Dylan was yelling at me she was shaking like crazy. She said it was because she was cold but I know better the anyone the deference between shaking in fear or because your cold, and let me tell you that was most definitely fear.

The way her eyes bugged out of her head or, she was constantly watching our hands as if to makes sure she knew where they where at all times.

"That's not all though" Ethan continued. "Have you noticed how little she eats. It's as if she was never aloud to eat before she came here" he told me.

"Well Bryson did say that she might just be in shock" I pointed out. Ethan looked at me like I was dumb before stating, "that still dose explain why she's so thin and frail. Everything that we bought today was and extra small, and Most of it is still big on her".

He's right she is way to small. I believe that under all of the baggy clothing she's nothing but skin and bones.

"She also stutters all of the time like she's not sure if she's aloud to talk" Ethan said. Thinking back to our first meeting I remember how she only wanted to nod her head in response.

When I told her to answer me verbally I got very quiet and timid responses from her. She also stutter if she said more then a simple one word answer.
