Archers POV:

I'm furious right now after hearing Makayla's words. I was sitting at my office around 8:30 doing so work for the Mafia. I had to postpone dinner till nine because I need to get this done.

I had just hit the seventy five percent mark when Bryson bursted though the door yelling that there was something wrong with Makayla.

I dropped what I was doing and followed Bryson to the living room. As we where walking down the stairs I herd a thud and a cry of pain.

Both Bryson and I rushed down the stairs. We headed straight into the living room. Today we would finally get to the bottom of whatever was going on with Makayla. Once we got into the living room we saw Liam holding her as if she was about to run.

"let's do this in my office" I stated. I left the room and started heading to my office. I was in there first followed by Ethan, and Bryson. Liam came in next caring Makayla. He set her down softly on the couch before stepping away. Luke and Dylan where the last two people to arrive.

She sat there on the couch looking around the room in fear. It hurt me that she was scared of us but after tonight I would find out the real reason as to why she is always so scared.

She looked over at Ethan silently begging him to get her out of this. Knowing that we needed to have this conversation he said "your not getting out of this, your going to have to tell us what happen".

From there you know what happened. Once we finally got her to start talking I was able to read in between the lines and put most of the pieces together.

Her step father got May addicted to drugs he did love her though. They turned Makayla into there servant making her cook and clean from a very young age.

I had some of my people look into Makayla's background, as well as the death of May. From what they have gathered May overdosed on Meth.

Now finding info on Makayla was apparently an incredibly different task. My men told me that around the age of eight she practically disappeared. She never went to any kind of doctor, and no friends.

The only thing that they could find out was that we she was eight she became homeschooled. They where able to see her grades but that was it. Besides school it was like she didn't exist. She was practically a ghost.

After hearing what she told me, and seeing most likely only a small portion of scars and bruises that she had. I'm gonna guess that they kept her home not only so that she could be their full time maid, but also so that they never had to worry about someone seeing her bruises and cuts. By keeping her locked away no one would ever find out about what they where doing.

One thing that really pissed me off was how Makayla called herself a murder. I can tell that the worthless little piece of shit said that so often to my poor baby sister that she actually believed him. If you think about it like that it makes me wonder how many other things he's told her that she believes.

When she whipped off the makeup on her wrist there where clearly cut marks there and I don't think  they where inflected by Darrell.

It brakes my heart to think that my perfect little princess is cutting herself because she doesn't fell like she's good enough and because she was feed a bunch of lies.

Now we understand why she's not eating as well. Even though she didn't directly say it, my guess is that Darrell didn't allow her to eat. That would explain the first night when she was here looking so confused by us giving her food.

All of these thoughts raced through my head but the number one thought was the fact that I failed her. I failed Makayla. As her big brother I was supposed to protect her and I failed. I promised her when she was a baby that I would always be there to love and protect her and I've completely failed.
