There are a few things, that Theodore Raeken would've never expected in his life.

He kinda expected to get murdered after sacrificing himself and leaving Liam locked safe in the elevator. He expected to disappear and to be forgotten. He was also lowkey scared of being killed by a member of Scott's pack. He wasn't exactly a saint.

But then there was Liam. Liam Dunbar, the athletic kid with a cute face and a heart of gold only seeing the good in everyone. And mainly in Theo. Liam was the one to pull Theo out of hell and he was the only one to trust him and breaking Kira's sword without any guarantee of Theo not murdering anyone or just fleeing.

To Theo's surprise, he did survive, and so did Liam. And what was an even bigger surprise to Theo, the two boys finally gave in and admitted their feelings to each other after Scott, Stiles and Lydia definitely left for college. Those two became inseparable. And even though Liam was a bit worried it wouldn't work out, they managed to get through high school and Liam was now in his last year of university.
The boys managed to keep a strong, loving and caring relationship, because what they've experienced has been enough. They'd been worried sick, lost each other too many times without knowing if they'd ever meet again. Enough is enough, neither one of them wanted to let it happen again.

Plenty of things have changed. Theo got a job as a police officer, being Sherriff Stilinski's right hand and deputy. Of course Theo could head off for a higher rank or join the FBI like Stiles did, but someone had to stay and protect Beacon Hills from the epicenter, right? Studying wasn't really his cup of tea, even though Liam tried to convice him at least twenty times.
That wasn't the only thing which changed. After moving in an apartment with Theo, Liam had found a passion for tattoos. Theo was surprised at first, but goddamn, Liam looked even hotter than before.

"Hey babe, I'm home!" Theo called from the hall as he kicked his shoes off and threw the keys on the counter.
"Love!" Liam was sitting on the floor, eyes locked on the screen and a cup of tea in his hand. Well... eyes locked on the screen just until Theo entered the room. His eyes met Liam's and the younger boy greeted him with a big, loving smile. "How was work today? Aren't you home a bit early? Not that I mind!" Theo chuckled. Even though Liam didn't look like the baby wolf he used to be in high school anymore, luckily, his sweet personality stayed the same. "Yeah," Theo came over to Liam and kissed him hello, "See, there was barely any work today on the station, so Noah gave me a day off for the rest of today."

"That's awesome, love! Let me go get you something to eat. I really didn't expect you to come home sooner, otherwise I'd have it prepared." Liam mumbled quickly and was on his feet, wanting to rush to the kitchen, but Theo stopped him. "Heyy, hey slow down, Li!" The older boy grasped Liam's cheek gently and stroked it with a thumb, "I'm not hungry right now. Besides, even if I was, I have hands, see? I can fix myself something to eat." Their noses were touching and Theo felt Liam's haert beat to steady. "Sorry, I-I just thought, you know-" "I know, love. Now do me a favor and stop thinking, okay?" Theo wrapped his arms around Liam's waist and pulled him on the couch. "That's better."

They were laying on the couch in each other's arms and talking about their day. Theo wanted to know, how is Liam's last year on uni going. He was stressed and Theo didn't like it one bit. He felt Liam's heart picking up pace against his own chest. "Babe, hey, calm down okay? Listen to me, you'll get through it. You're smart, witty and ambitious. I don't see a reason why you wouldn't pass!" Theo smiled reassuringly and kissed Liam's forehead. "It's going to be okay."

"Now, whatcha say, that you close that laptop? I bet you've been sitting here from the moment I left for work, studying you sexy ass off!" "Theo! I-" Liam had to laugh. Theo also didn't change. Not even a little. "Close. That. Friggin'. Laptop. Or I swear, your laptop will learn how to fly very soon!" Theo warned. Liam's eyes widened in horror. Tons of his hard work would be lost. And the worst part is, that Theo being well... Theo, would be capable of doing it.

"N-No," he reached out to the coffee table and shut the laptop. "See? All closed. Happy?" Theo laughed. "More than happy. Now babe, what have you eaten today?" Theo raised one brow, looking down at Liam with a concerned gaze. "Well..." Liam hesitated, looking away. His heart started to beat faster. "Oh no. No you didn't!" Theo growled and sat up, letting go of Liam. He earned a disappointed moan. "Don't even try it, Dunbar! Now... here's how's it gonna be. First we get you something to eat, then I take a shower and then we'll have a movie night. You need to eat, love. And you need to learn how to relax."

"But-" "Don't but on me or I'll kick your butt. Remember, I'm the one with a gun here." Theo got up and reached out for Liam's hand. "And I'm a werewolf." Liam huffed with a proud smile. Oh, so this is how we're playing, are we? "I'm a werewolf too, but I also have my gun loaded with wolfsbane bullets." Theo winked and saw a flash of fear cross Liam's face. "Okay babe, you win." Liam gulped and grabbed Theo's hand, following him into the kitchen. "That's what I thought!"
